Mine and Kellin's fights were getting worse. I started cutting more and more. Alex walked in on me cutting one day.

Flashback

"Dez!" Alex yelled. I ignored him and cut more. "Dez, stop! You don't know what you're doing!" He grabbed the blade from my hand.

"Give it back!" I demanded.

"No. You're putting your life in danger. You could kill yourself." He said.

"I want to." I said.

"What about Genevieve and Kellin? Who's gonna raise them?" He asked.

"I don't know." I mumbled.

"Please stop. I don't want to lose you. I can't." Alex said, quietly.

Flashback over

Alex made me give him all my blades. "Here you go." I gave him a small box full of them.

"Where the hell did you get all these?" Alex asked.

"They pile up over the years." I said.

I picked up Genevieve. I watched as Kellin smiled at Alex. I put her in a stroller. "Where are you going?" Alex asked.

"Taking Genevieve on a walk," I said. "You coming?"

"Yeah." Alex smiled and put Kellin in a separate stroller. We rolled them down the street. "Why doesn't Kellin want me and you around each other?"

"I don't know, to be honest." I sighed.

"He's the one who wanted me to keep you company in the first place." Alex said.

"I know. I don't know what his problem is." I said.

"I'm scared you're not gonna hang around me anymore because of him." He said.

"Why would you think that? Alex, I'm not going to do that. You and Jack mean the world to me. Just because Kellin says I'm not allowed to do something doesn't mean I'm gonna stop doing that thing." I said.

"I know." Alex said.

Alex went home and I was alone again. I missed Kellin. My phone rang. "Hello?"

"Hey, Dez. It's Justin." Justin said. "Look, Kellin told us all not to tell you this but I can't keep my mouth shut. You need to know. Even if it breaks your heart."

"Spit it out, Justin." I said.

"Kellin's cheating on you. I'm so sorry." My heart broke into a million pieces. How could he do this? I've never cheated.

"Why? Why would he do this?" I cried.

"I don't know. I'm so sorry, Dez." Justin said.

"Did you tell her?" I heard Gabe ask.

"Yeah." Justin said.

"Thank you for telling me," I said. "Now I know how worthless I am."

"You're not worthless. All of us are here for you if you need someone." He said.

"I don't need anyone anymore." I said, hanging up. I ran upstairs and packed all my clothes up. After that, I packed Kellin and Genevieve's clothes. I was leaving. Before I left, I wrote Kellin a note. I put the suitcases in the trunk and Genevieve and Kellin in their car seats.

I drove to Alex's house first. I honked and we walked out of the house. "What are you doing?" Alex asked. "And why are you crying?"

"Kellin cheated, so I'm leaving. I just thought I should tell you." I said.

"Please, don't leave." Alex pleaded.

"Lex, I have to. I can't be here." I said. He was silent.

"I'm coming with you." Alex said, walking inside. 10 minutes later, he walked out, put his stuff in the trunk, and got in the passenger side.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"I'm positive." Alex smiled.
