Chapter 24

Mitch was a close friend to Dez. I knew this was going to be tough for her. She was crying and cleaning the kitchen counter. I walked behind her. "Are you okay?" I asked. She nodded.

"Sure. I'll get over it." She said.

"I'm sorry. I know you're really close to him." I said.

"It's okay." She wiped her tears and turned to me.

"I just can't believe he died." I said.

"I know. Me either." She hugged me for the longest time.

I let her go. I walked upstairs and held Kellin. Dez held Genevieve. She fed her until she was asleep. I did the same. We walked to our room where I fell asleep and Dez fell asleep in my arms.

I had a dream that Mitch was watching over the kids. He was an angel who kept babies and children safe. I smiled at him.

7 months later (June)

The kids were almost walking. Kellin was but Genevieve wasn't yet. Almost.

"Look Kel." Dez said. I looked over and Genevieve was waking. This was great!

"She's doing it!" I exclaimed.

"Wait, doesn't Warped start soon?" Dez asked.

"Yeah, why?" I asked.

"Well we both can't go. One of us has to stay here." Dez said.

"Oh yeah," I said. "Who?"

"I will. You go." She said.

"No you." I said

"Kellin," she said. I hated when she "Kellin" me. It meant I was about to lose. "Go. Your band has more fans. They want you there."

"Your band has just as many fans as-" She looked at me. "Fine." I said.

"Have fun. When is it?" She asked.

"In 2 weeks, I think." I said.

"Well you better get ready for it." I smiled.

"Is Alex going?" He asked.

"I don't know. I haven't talked to him since me and you got back together." I said.

"Is he mad?" He asked.

"I think so." I said.

3 weeks later

Kellin left for Warped Tour a week ago. I called Alex and he was coming over. I slipped a black beanie on my head. Someone knocked at the door. It was Alex. I couldn't wait to see him.

"Alex!" I exclaimed.

"Dez!" Alex screamed.

"JACK!" Jack screamed at the top of his lungs.

"Jackriel!" I said, jumping into his arms.

"Dez, never leave me or Alex again. We'll just live in your basement. I missed you so much. Alex did too. He went on and on about how much he missed you." Jack kept going on.

"Jack," Alex said. "That's enough." Alex laughed.

"Where's the kids?" Alex asked.

"Upstairs, asleep," I said. "Well they might not be now by hearing Jack scream."

"Hey, Alex was screaming just as well." Jack protested.

"Yeah, but not as loud as you," I giggled. "Why don't you go check on them?"

Jack sped into my house. I turned to Alex. "I missed you so fucking much, Lex." I said.

"I missed you more than that." He grinned, pulling me into a long hug.

"You smell good." I said, sniffing him more.

"So do you." He sniffed me. I laughed. I missed him. I missed how funny he was. I missed his hugs. I missed Jack too.

"Let's go in." I said. He let me go and followed me inside. I seem Jack playing with the kids. "Oh my god." I smiled.

"What?" Jack asked.

"That's the cutest thing ever." I said.

"What is?" Jack asked, again.

"You playing with Kellin and Genevieve." I said.

"What's their middle names?" Alex asked.

"Kellin's is Alexander Quinn, and Genevieve's is Veda." I said.

"Aww." Alex hugged me.

"I sometimes call Kellin Alex because there's 2 of them." I said.

"That's cute." Alex smiled.

(Okay, sorry it took so long to update. I'm having summer break in 2 days (not counting weekends) so I'll have a shit load more time. I won't update for about another week or so. I'm hanging out with a crush of mine. xD anyway, comment and vote. Love you sexies. :3)
