At the end of the meal at the Pink Door for their bachelorette party, Carina had gotten up to pay the bill while pretending to go to the bathroom, and on her way back to the table had told everyone it was time for the second activity of their evening.
In such a short space of time, she hadn't had much choice of activity. She had managed to book a private booth in a bar that make karaoke. She had made this reservation somewhat selfishly. She'd booked it because she was madly in love with her fiancée's voice.
-"I can't believe you're getting married before us!" Ryan said, coming to sit next to Maya once they'd reached the karaoke bar.
-"Listen, I guess I love Carina more than you love Andy".
- "Heyyy that's really mean!"
-"I'm kidding. But let's just say you never lost her, like I lost Carina. And I can't afford to lose her again."
- "I'm glad to have Carina's Maya back ... it's always been my favorite."
- "me too" she smiled.
Carina had returned with the songbook and some papers for them to sign up to sing.
Once she'd handed over the papers. The Italian had gone to see the evening's host to ask him to put «Maya» first in their group.
The waiter came to take their order while a young man was singing.
-"Tonight we have a bachelorette party in the hall. And please welcome with thunderous applause at the microphone, Maya."
The blonde had looked at her fiancée.
-"Is that you? I didn't put my first name at the top of our pile."
- "I can't help it if I love hearing you sing more than anything!"
- "Come on, Maya, cheer up! Tomorrow will be more stressful for you!" Fit Dean
The blonde turned to Carina.
-"He can't imagine how easy tomorrow's going to be. The least difficult day of my life".
She leaned over and kissed the Italian before joining the host.
He gave her the microphone and the title of the song appeared on the screen, Found You by Ross Copperman.
