It had now been two weeks since Ryan and Andy had gotten married, at the beginning of July, and the captain's best friend was already back at work.

Today, the A-team was on call, they'd gone out on an intervention while Herrera was in the aid car and Vic at the reception.

When Maya returned with the team in the RIG, the girls were waiting for her with huge smiles.

-"ooookay... I'm not sure I want to ask you..." She said as she headed for her desk, smelling a trap.

- "captaiiiin!" Vic said, as they both followed Maya into her office.

-"No, really, your smile doesn't make me want to listen to you."

-"Mayaaa you know me, I'm your best friend!"

- "and you know me, I'm... Your best... Paramedics"

- "Heyyy!!" Said Andy

-"If you want to be her best firefighter, you can... But I think I'm more comfortable here in the Aid Car".

Maya sat down.

-"I'm listening. And be quick, I absolutely must have a shower... What's the idea of intervening in a sugar factory... That thing stinks. I'll never eat sugar again without thinking twice. I feel like my whole being still smells of rotting sugar beet."

- "sooooo we have a group of adoooorable children-"

- "adorable, adorable, adorable" said Andy

- "who came in and were selling cakes-"

- "and you know that as firefighters, we have to watch our figure..."

- "and they were taking up a collect so they could go on vacation in August".

- "poor guys, they haven't been on vacation in three years!"

- "okay, okay, and at what point do I intervene?"

- "we told them we couldn't buy cakes because we had to keep our figure" replied Andy

- "but?"

- "but we may have hinted to them that we could organize a fund-raiser..." Said Vic

- "you... You two?"

- "the barracks" replied Vic with her best smile.

-"And I suppose you've come up with some ideas? "

-"One in particular" replied Andy.

-"wait... I'm preparing myself psychologicall-"

- "a bikini car wash!!!"

- "whaaaat?!" Maya asked, raising her eyebrows.

-"Yes, a bikini car wash! Come on, Maya... May all those hours of training finally come in handy!"

- "personally, it serves me well at work and when I'm with my incredible wife... I don't think Ryan is complaining about such an athletic body"

- "no indeed but... We're paid by the taxpayer... So the taxpayer should be able to enjoy such an orgasmic vision, of firemen and firewomen to fall over"

- "Well, listen... If you can convince your colleagues, it doesn't matter what the shift is, from my side, as soon as you have a willing team, I'll take care of Chief Ross."

- "easy"

- "and you'll need your colleagues' agreement, of course, to come in on an extra day, so we don't have to close the firehouse."

- "Maya!!!"

- "next time don't go near those kids and make promises... Well... Can I go shower?"

- "You can... Because, well... It's true that you stink and you've got a rather refined wife, and not like sugar, no pun intended... it wouldn't do for her to ask for a divorce because you stink" replied her best friend.
