Vacations are torture.
Fortunately, the University was still open and Maya could enjoy the running track and gym to her heart's content.
Not that she didn't love running in the streets of Seattle, but every time she did, she remembered with Carina the time she'd pressed her against her body, when they were still just two teenagers who'd gone off the rails one night and still had a slightly strained relationship.Maya had asked Pruitt to put her on every possible shift. Andy wanted to enjoy her vacation a little more. She had big doubts about her orientation. She had more passion when she was on intervention, than in class. Sure, she was learning useful things about being a firefighter, but the rest didn't interest her at all. So she had taken advantage of this time to think.
Pruitt didn't want his daughter to go into a profession as dangerous as his.For her part, Maya enchanted the guards; the whole team was impressed by the soon-to-be eighteen-year-old.
The rigor she had acquired in the race was reflected in her work at the barracks. She had just asked her captain for a week to spend her birthday with her grandmother, Alivia, so she wouldn't have to celebrate her nineteenth birthday with her friends or parents.
Lane had become much more lenient with her. She was having an impressive time, and all he could see when he looked at his daughter was the gold medal looming on the eve of her nineteenth birthday.
Besides, he didn't want any more distractions for his daughter. It would soon be the year of the Olympic Games, and they'd been preparing Maya's whole life for it. He'd dipped into his savings and rented a small studio for the off-campus blonde. But he'd also hired a coach, a real one, to train her as well as possible.
Lane made her run more, even if it meant missing classes, and that suited her and Oliver, her coach, too. The only thing she didn't want to take time away from was her time in the barracks; she could really see herself starting the academy right after the Olympics.
With Maya living off-campus, Andy had moved back in with her father, mainly to be with her best friend, but that had lost all meaning today.
Maya was continuing to compete in the ten-mile meter event all over the country and was in the running to represent the United States at the next Olympic Games. It was the home stretch and she was eagerly awaiting the return of the International Olympic Committee to the U.S. National Olympic Committee, the committee in charge of submitting their choices of candidates for participation in the Olympics.
In the meantime, she kept going to class, when she had time, or when she was thinking about it, she kept running, and she kept up with the girls.
She'd had a bit of a hard time getting back into it after the Andy, the sensor woman episode, but then she'd told herself that no cyclist, rider or skateboarder would exist if they'd thrown in the towel after the first fall.So she got back in the saddle, and at least once a week, on Wednesdays, she went out to meet girls.
It took her a few weeks to accept a girl's touch again, though, and she had to grit her teeth at first when a girl dared to slip her hand between her thighs, her first instinct being to get her out of the way, but once her murderous urges had passed, she was able to enjoy the moment most of the time. But it goes without saying that if the young woman she was having a good time with wasn't trying to touch her, she was fine with that too.
She just had to avoid thinking about the woman she really wanted because that was a double-edged sword. Either thinking about the way Carina had touched her would inflame her and she'd have her orgasm within minutes, if not seconds, or it would stop her completely because the woman above her was clearly not Carina.
