Scar's Perspective-

Summer-

"Scar, before you leave, I set up this phone for you. It was the one we ordered a while ago, but I wanted to give it to you now so you have a nice phone for college." Scar's father said, handing his son a phone.

"If you want, we can set it- "

"Great! Thanks dad, now I gotta go, Tango's waiting!" Scar called, closing the door behind him.

His father blinked but sighed before shrugging.

-

Scar smiled as he saw his boyfriend.

"Hey Scar! Hey Tango! I really like what you guys did with the barn."

"Thanks!" Tango smiled.

"Hey Grian! My dad gave me this new phone and if you want, you and Tim can share it so you guys can communicate with me and Tango!"

Grian gasped, "Really?!"

Scar nodded, "We just have to set it up, but then it's yours!"

Grian smiled and watched as Scar set the phone up and put in his and Tango's numbers.

"Alright, now try calling Tango." Scar said, handing the phone to Jimmy.

Jimmy pressed on the phone app and clicked on Tango's contact.

Tango's phone started ringing and Jimmy smiled at his boyfriend.

"See? So when we're out in college, we can still talk!" Scar said.

Grian smiled as Jimmy handed him the phone.

"But...what if it's a bad thing?"

Scar blinked, "What?"

"Being this far from each other...what if it actually hurts our relationship?"

Grian looked up at Tango and Jimmy. Tango had his arm wrapped around Jimmy and the were sitting under a shady tree, both red.

"What if being far from each other hurts their relationship?"

"Gri, it won't do that, trust me."

"But- "

"It won't." Scar said, making Grian look at him, "Nothing bad will happen, trust me."

Grian smiled and softly kissed Scar's lips.

"Okay." He whispered.

"Ooooo!!"

Scar and Grian looked over to see Tango and Jimmy both laughing at them.

"Oh shut up!" Grian called, rolling his eyes.

His friends laughed and they then went into the barn, getting ready for their sleepover.

Even though Tango and Scar were leaving in late August, they were determined to make as many memories with their boyfriend's and friends as possible.

It doesn't matter how different Scar and Grian are, because they had one thing keeping them together.

Their undying love for each other.

I love you.

(Future Seth here, Seth from like July 2024, I wrote this story when I was kind of taking writing as a job and not a hobby. If I became behind on a story and wouldn't be able to update it, then I just had to crank out chapters. Which meant we get crappy ones and short stories with no angst. I'm sorry this happened, I'm in a much better headspace now, but I just want you to understand why the story is the way it is)
