"Mommy! Look I climbed all the way to the top!" a young girl exclaimed from the top of a tree.

"I see that, please be careful!" her mom called up.

The girl giggled and looked around the park from her new vantage point. She then noticed a lone boy who seemed to be in his teens sitting on the ground with his back against some concrete. Something about him caught her eye, so she decided to climb down the tree and walk toward the boy. The closer she got, the more she noticed that he was kinda see-through and that he was flickering every few seconds. "Hello?" she asked, approaching the boy, "Are you ok?"

The boy looked up, his eyes falling on the small girl. He looked around to see who she was talking to, but when he realized that nobody else was around, his eyes widened in shock. "You can see me?" he asked.

The little girl nodded, "Are you ok? You keep flickering..."

The boy looked down at his body and sighed, "Yeah, I do..."

"Why?" she asked.

The boy smiled sadly, not wanting to upset the young girl who couldn't have been more than four years old. Then, a voice called out, "Aiko? Who are you talking to sweetheart?"

Aiko, the little girl, looked up at her mom and said, "Him," while pointing at the boy.

Aiko's mom looked where the girl was pointing and quirked a brow before chuckling. "I see you've made an imaginary friend, huh?"

Aiko frowned, "He's real!"

Aiko then stomped toward the teenager and went to grab his arm, only for her hands to go completely through him, a cold chill going up her body. "Eh?!" Aiko cried out, reaching out to the boy.

The boy smiled softly at her, "It's ok little one, I'm still here, but different."

"What do you mean, different?" Aiko asked.

"Alright Aiko, that's enough. We need to go home," her mom said, pulling on her arm.

"Wait! What's your name?!" Aiko called out.

"Haruki Mizuki"

A week or so later, Aiko felt a tickle go down her back. It was cold, and it made her feel dizzy. "Daddy... I don't feel so good..." she muttered, walking into the kitchen where her dad stood.

Her dad turned toward the voice, which sounded like a strange echo, and gasped. "Aiko?!"

Aiko tilted her head, confused as her dad ran toward her and knelt in front of her. He reached out to touch her, only for his hand to go straight through her body. His face went pale as he called out, "Honey! Get down here fast!"

A storm of footsteps sounded above them as Aiko's mom ran down the stairs. "What's going o- Aiko!" she exclaimed, running toward them.

"Something's going on. I think it might be her quirk," her dad stated.

"Ok sweetheart, can you do me a favor?" her mom asked Aiko with a gentle voice.

Aiko nodded, tears forming in her eyes. "I want you to calm down and think about something else, anything else," her mom said calmly.

Aiko nodded, sniffling up her tears, and did as her mom instructed. After a few minutes, her body was flooded with a warm feeling, and her parents sighed. "I'll call the quirk doctor, ok?" her dad said, standing up and grabbing his phone.

"Are you alright, Aiko?" her mom asked.

Aiko nodded and said, "It felt like when I touched Haruki... my hand went through him and I felt shivers go down my back..."
