Third PERSON POV
Kunj and Adarsh exchanged glances, silently communicating after reading Yashi's report, while Twinkle and Yashi watched them with curiosity.
Twinkle, growing irritated, finally broke the silence. "Can you, for God's sake, stop talking with your eyes like long-lost lovers and tell us what's in her report?"
Yashi, nervous, turned to Adarsh. "Yaa Adarsh, everything is okay, right? I'm fine, naa?"
Adarsh sighed, his expression turning soft yet pitiful. "Baby, our diagnosis was right. You have a severe UTI. I wish you had told me earlier, but now the infection has spread too much. You need antibiotics immediately."
Yashi's eyes widened in fear. "A...an...antibiotics?" she stuttered, her voice trembling.
Kunj nodded, his tone firm yet reassuring. "Yes, Yashi. To cure the infection, we need to administer antibiotics intravenously. But don't be scared. I know your fear, so instead of poking you repeatedly, I'll insert a cannula in your hand. That way, we can give the medicine without repeated injections."
Twinkle scoffed. "Yeah, yeah, as if you're going to attach the cannula superficially," she said sarcastically.
Kunj shot her a glare. "Shut up, Twinkle. This isn't the time to joke."
Twinkle crossed her arms, standing her ground. "You shut up, Kunj! How can you say it like it's no big deal? You're talking about inserting a cannula, which means a needle will stay in her hand all the time. It's going to hurt like hell, and you're acting like you're doing her a favor!"
Yashi, tears pooling in her eyes, pleaded softly. "Yes, bhai, please. I already told you-no needles for treatment. Please don't attach a cannula. It will hurt too much."
Kunj's glare sharpened at Twinkle.
Adarsh, trying to reason with Yashi, spoke gently. "Yashi, Kunj is right. If we inject the antibiotics directly, it will hurt even more. The cannula will sting only for a moment, and then it will be fine. I'll be with you the whole time, okay? Be brave."
But Yashi shook her head furiously, hiding her face in Twinkle's waist.
Twinkle, protective as ever, hugged her tightly. "Bhai..." she started.
Kunj cut her off, his voice stern. "Twinkle, get out of here."
She lifted her chin defiantly. "No, I am not going anywhere. Understand? You always do this, even with Ansh. But I won't let you do this to her!"
Adarsh sighed, rubbing his temple. "Twinkle, we are only treating her. If we don't, how will she get better? Just leave for now. You can come back once we're done."
Still, Twinkle didn't budge, making both doctors sigh in frustration.
Kunj's patience was thinning. "Do you want me to drag you out, Twinkle?"
Twinkle narrowed her eyes. "Do you want me to kill you, Kunj?"
Yashi and Adarsh chuckled but quickly masked it with coughs.
Kunj rolled his eyes. "Fine. But you're still leaving."
Twinkle smirked. "Oh really? Then make me." She folded her arms stubbornly.
Kunj took slow steps toward her, his dominating aura making her gulp. "Are you challenging me?"
Twinkle, despite her nerves, nodded firmly. But in a blink, Kunj scooped her up in a bridal style, making her shriek.
"Kunj, what the hell are you doing?! Put me down!" she screamed, struggling in his arms.
Ignoring her protests, Kunj turned to Adarsh. "I'm sending my nurse. She'll bring the needed supplies. I'll be back soon."
