Papillon POV

Leah get down, and Laurent please don't throw the ball at the house. I mean it!

"I'm not throwing ... Mama it bounces."

Well stop bouncing.

"Ahhhh owwwww owww Mommy! Mommy, my leg owwww!"

I told you to sit down, I knew you were going to fall. Come here.

Leah gets up, but before she comes over to me her Daddy walks out. She immediately falls back over and starts crying like her leg is broken.

Larry, as always, scoops her up and buys into the drama.

"Oh my girl, what happen? Shhhh Daddy here."

"I fell ...."

She's fine. I told her to stop walking along the wall, it's slippery.

"It OK you fine now. No cuts, wiggle your toes ... see nothing broken. You just fine."

She gets off his lap, and runs right back to the same spot where her little butt fell. Larry walks over and takes the spatula from my hand.

"I finish the burgers."

No it's OK, I'm almost done.

He ignores me and starts flipping.

"You good Papi?"

No.

"Bébé, I sorry. Go inside, I feed the animals HaHaHa."

Thanks Honey, I've just been extra stressed. One six year old is taxing but two little spoiled vampires. Oh my God ....

BOOM!

.... Dammit Laurent! You're going to break a window, I told you to STOOOP! What is wrong with you? I've told your ass over and over again. NOW STOP!!!! Dammit!

"Bébé, easy."

I didn't realize just how loud I yelled at him ... and I cussed.

Not good.

I looked at him holding his basketball eyes wide. He froze and stared at me, while his sister came over and held his hand. They are so connected, little Lau knew I was angry. I'm sure he felt just how much. Leah's touch comforted him.

Shit, I overreacted.

Big Lau heard the commotion and came outside.

"What happening?"

Oh LauLau, Mommy's sorry. I'm so sorry I screamed at you. You weren't following directions, but I did not have to speak to you that way. I'm sorry.

"If he still bouncing that ball near the house he deserve to be yelled at. Laurent, were you? I  warn you, we warn you."

The two come over. Little Lau hugs me, his sister stays close.

"I'm sorry Daddy ... Mommy. I'm sorry."

It's OK I'm sorry I yelled like that I'm just ... tired. You got this?

"Oui Bèbé. Come on team ... we need to talk about following directions."

I hug my babies again before Laurent leads them away. He gives me a kiss, looks concerned and glances at Larry on the grill. They had their own twin moment, and I let them both know I'm OK. I can tell neither really believe me, but they nod and agree to keep our twins out of my hair.
