I've been awake for hours. I look over at Larry.

How can he sleep so soundly?

I think he's dreaming, it's intense. He starts to mumble then wakes up, turns, opens his eyes and smiles.

"Good morning."

Morning Larry. 

"How you?"

I'm as good as can be expected. 

"Do I hear rain?"

I get up and go look out the window.

It is raining.

Appropriate.

"You have him with you all night?"

Huh?

"Lau. I feel him, he calm you."

Yes, but I can't feel him now.

"He Okay. Still mad, but better than last night. He starting to understand."

I need to understand.

Larry moves out of bed and stands behind me. When he wraps his arms around my waist I immediately feel safe, warm, and secure. I lean my head back on his chest.

"What you need understand Bébé? You know there nothing we can do."

I don't want to hurt Laurent and Aria. 

"I know I not want that either, but we need to accept it. Now it you and me."

Larry you're the only guy she really cared about. I can tell.

"Our relationship not like you think. Aria not upset, not like my brother, il est contrarié." (He is upset)

I wish I could read her. Like Eros read ... you think ...

I nod, turn around and look up at him, we kiss. I feel my chest burn as Larry holds me tight. It feels so natural, I'm not even concerned about my morning breath. I actually only taste the sweetness of his mouth.

I feel him begin to swell ... I'm pushed back to the bed and we fall on the mattress.
