Snippets of alternate outcomes in the lives and enduring love story of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin.
When I started out with this story, I only intended to loosely base the 'short piece' on the events in Bolum (Episodes) 17 & 18 however, I got such pos...
I found a love, for me Darling, just dive right in and follow my lead Well, I found a girl, beautiful and sweet Oh, I never knew you were the someone waiting for me
'Cause we were just kids when we fell in love Not knowing what it was I will not give you up this time But darling, just kiss me slow Your heart is all I own And in your eyes, you're holding mine
Baby, I'm dancing in the dark With you between my arms Barefoot on the grass Listening to our favourite song When you said you looked a mess I whispered underneath my breath But you heard it Darling, you look perfect tonight
Well, I found a woman, stronger than anyone I know She shares my dreams, I hope that someday I'll share her home I found a lover, to carry more than just my secrets To carry love, to carry children of our own
We are still kids, but we're so in love Fighting against all odds I know we'll be alright this time Darling, just hold my hand Be my girl, I'll be your man I see my future in your eyes
Baby, I'm dancing in the dark With you between my arms Barefoot on the grass Listening to our favourite song When I saw you in that dress, looking so beautiful I don't deserve this Darling, you look perfect tonight
Baby, I'm dancing in the dark With you between my arms Barefoot on the grass Listening to our favourite song I have faith in what I see Now I know I have met an angel in person And she looks perfect

Can was on the verge of exploding with excitement; it was finally the day of the camping trip. The sun rose, painting the horizon with brilliant shades of pink, purple and orange. A pleasant breeze blew against his face, carrying with it a sweet fragrance of honeysuckle and lavender. Snow-capped peaks jutted against the azure skyline like giant teeth in the distance.
He had been watching the weather report and it looked like the temperatures would be mild for the next forty-eight hours, ideal for camping at Kilimli Parkuru in Agva.
Can had taken some time to find the exact spot, and he was delighted when he laid eyes on Kilimli. Agva, a seaside village located two hours away from Istanbul, had the ideal landscape for his plans - a rugged hiking trail for the adventurous souls, and miles of flat coastline with a wide array of water activities for those who preferred something calmer. It was the best place to bring everyone together and get them motivated for their upcoming campaign.
Eager to ensure everything was ideal for the camp, he'd headed out to the site the day before and set up his tent in the area he'd chosen. Next he'd headed to a cliff overhanging the Black Sea coast, erected some poles and hung a hammock. After stringing some paper lanterns on the poles, he'd stretched out on the hammock and spent the night gazing at the stars, serenaded by the chirping of crickets and the sloshing water as the waves rolled back and from the sandy shores below, praying that Sanem would forgive him, that she'd be willing to put the past behind them and that they could look forward to a future together.
