Arguing again

It's already getting late so i head downstairs and begin to make diner. I throw the spaghetti noodles in the pan, the water splashes up over my hand. "Fuck" i say while grabbing my hand in he other . "What happend ?" Em says storming towards me.

"Oh nothing much don't worry, it was just water" i tell her holding my hand under the cold water from the tap.

" are you sure , if you're hurt just say it. I don't want to have you whit a third degree burn" Em holds out a pack of ice towards me.

" it's really not that bad, i mean you're acting like i've been burn by a fire" i laugh and take the pack from her, "i just want to be sure oke". I give Emma a smile before watching the food again.

" the dinner is ready" i yell when i'm done cooking.

"Finally i'm hungry" Brian rushes over to the table. His big smile disappears once he sees that the table is empty. I hold up the plates whit a grin on my face. " really" Brian sighs while he grabs the plates from me and puts them on the table. "Yeah really, i cooked so it's also your turn to do the dishes" i walk to the table whit the pan in my hand. "I did it yesterday" he sits down. "No you didn't" i sit down and put the cutlery on the right side of my plate.

" what do you mean" . "Bitch i had to clean your pizza left overs, and the box too" i explain.

"Oh well ask Kaine to do the dishes" Brian suggests.

" you ask him, we're not on the right terms right now. Yeah if you want an explanation you ask him. Not me, i'm done whit him right now" i say.

"Where is he anyways?" Em asks joining us at the table. "How should i know?" I say. "I think hes upstairs, i'll get him" Brian hurries of to kaine's room upstairs.

" this is weird" Em says.

"Yeah this is not like him at all, i mean he would always be here of i would cook" i agree whit her. " you want some water?" I ask Em. " yeah sure" she says.

I stand up to the fridge and grab a cold bottle of water.

Finally Kaine comes downstairs in sweatpants and a white shirt.

" oh look who's finally decide to come down" i comment.

" Ryann don't" Em says.

I give her a glare but sit down whit out further words. No one speaks during diner which is by the way really rare,

"Where have you been?" I ask him. "Why do you care" he snaps at me. "I don't" i yell. " yeah don't, it's none of your business" Kaine yells back. "YOU'RE SO FUCKING ANNOYING" i yell standing up. "SO ARE YOU" he screams back.

"I HATE YOU!!" I scream and storm off to my room.

" Ryann, Ryann don't leave. Ryann" i hear begging me to come back.

I slam the door and throw myself on my bed.

After that i quickly fall asleep.

"Hey" i hear a voice.

" hello?" I ask confused.

"Hello Ryann, how are you doing" the voice says.

"Ehm good where are you?" I look around. Then a man steps into my view. "I know you...i just forgot your name" i say pointing at the man.

" your name was something whit a doctor in it, whatever i'm doing pretty fine. Well if you look past the fact that Kaine got kidnapped, i got kidnapped. Well kind of, but if you look past that. Then i'm doing pretty good" i laugh .

"Well thats great, what about your powers , how are those?" He asks inspecting me. "Powers?" I ask.

"Yeah you have powers, just try and focus your mind on one thing" he says.

I sit up wide awake in my bed. Whit a groan i slam my hand on my clock and put the alarm out.

"Powers?" I question. "Whatever, shit, shit i'm fucking almost late" i see as the clock say 07:45.

I pull a black dress out of my closet and put in on. I fly of the stairs and grab an apple from the fridge.

I jump into my car and speed of to school. " hey i'm so sorry i'm late, i should get a note right" i say when i enter class . "No it's fine , only for this time just take a seat" . " thank you so, so much miss" i smile and take a seat next to Audrey. "You missed Thursday and Friday where were you?" She asks worried. "I had to catch up onto something" i say.

"On what?" "I'll tell you about it later" i whisper to her.

"Oke so tell me about it" Audrey gives me a nudge when we walk out of third period . "Well apparently i've got no parents, or my parents are in another country, that means i live whit my best friend" just as i say hat Audrey raises her eyebrows. "You're my best friend too oke, i've just known her for longer . So i thought i had a boyfriend Kaine, wait i live whit him and his best friend Brian. So Kaine isn't my boyfriend he's just a big jerk. Me and Emma went on a boat and thats how i missed school. Don't worry i'm back now" i explain.

"Lets go to science shall we" i loop my arm through hers.

" hi Brian" i greet him whit a smile. "Hey cutie" he greets me. "So what you've been, hold up you called me cutie??" I turn on my heels and face him. "Did i, i didn't" he says. "Alright, what you say" i smile. We take our seats and grab our books. " so, does anyone know what this will do?" The teacher says holding something burning in the sky. "Sir can i have another paper?" A girl from class asks. "Yeah sure let me grab it for you" the teacher blows out the burning thing and lays it down next to some textbooks.

"Why is the door locked?" Brian asks.

" for scientific reasons, here you go" the teacher hands her the paper. Then he goes on to explain something about the subject.

Suddenly i smell this ashy smell.

"What is that?" I ask Em.

"I don't know, what is it?" She asks me back. Then a flame bursts from a book.

Before we know it the whole wall of books is under the flames and ash. "Students stay calm , stay calm" the teacher says. "HOW DO YOU EXPECT US TO STAY CALM IF THE ROOM IS ON FIRE" I scream.
