"Kaine slow down" I say stumbling over a root.
"Kaine stop woah" I jump over a bush.
"Kaine-" "Ryann just follow me" Kaine yells looking back at me.
"Oh alright, I was following anyways. I mean it's not like I have a choice" then Kaine let's go of my arm and walks off.
"Hey wait, no. just wait for me. I can't keep up if you run do hard" i run after Kaine.
"you always have a choice. now do you trust me?" Kaine turns around and stops.
i can just stop in time before I would collide into him.
"Yeah I do" I say out of breath. "Great" he grabs my hand again and drags us off.
we arrive at the car and Kaine stops to look at me.
"What?" I ask.
"keys" He holds up his hand. "oh right, we got into this massive argument where you simply shoved me against a tree. you made me suffer in your cloud of smoke, right after that you dragged me through the forest. now you want my keys" I put my hand on my hip.
"Ryann" He says and even tho it's dark I can feel a stare coming from him.
I sigh and reach for my keys and throw it to him whitout a word.
"step in" Kaine yells opening the door at his side.
"What do you think I was gonna do, have a tea party outside?" I yell back annoyed.
"No" "We'll then shut up" I yank open the door and lower myself into the passager seat.
"Where are we off to?" I ask once Kaine settles his foot onto the gas peddle.
"home and once we arive you'll pack". "Pack what, my clothes. I though you didn't want a vacation" I cross my arms and raise my eyebrow at him.
"It's not a vacation. it more like a necessary trip" Kaine explains.
"Where off too?" I ask.
"You saw those things in new York right?". "If you're talking about the modern things yeah" I say still having no clue what he's onto.
"Then we're off too new York".
"Oké fun, what are we gonna do whit school and are Em and Brian whit us?" I ask him.
"why do you have so much questions. you wanted a vacation here's your vacation". "Just answer the question Kaine". "I'll call you in sick and I'm sure em and Brian would love the house to themself" Kaine tells me.
"Jesus crist, kaine I told you I have a" "test, I know. I'll just call in to let them know you haven't recovered fully and need a while week off" Kaine interupts me.
"alright what do i need to pack?" I open the window.
"close it". "What?" I ask.
"Close the window" Kaine looks at me irritated.
"why Its hot in here" I argue against him. "no it's like cold". "No it's not, you're crazy" I say.
"I have a headache, so if you're going to open a window it's going to get cold and I will have more off a headache" Kaine says.
"Well sorry, Its not my problem that don't want to sweat over my whole car seat" I sigh.
"How can you sweat, oh right maybe you're wearing a fucking sweater and sweatpants" Kaine speeds up.
"Well I don't have anything else" I close the window.
then all of the sudden Kaine drives off to the side and stops the car. "What are you doing?" I ask.
Kaine pulls off his sweater revealing a black shirt. "Kaine what are you doing?" I ask again.
he also removes his shirt and gives it to me.
this is so inappropriate but damm he still looks really really fine.
"Eyes are up here" he grins.
"Thankst" I take the shirt from him and start to remove my own sweater.
"Hey, eyes are up here" I repeat what Kaine just said when I catch him looking at me.
"can I go?" He asks.
"Yeah sure" I pull the sweater over my head.
"How are we gonna sleep if we're driving like what a half day. by the way that's not even that long" I ask him.
"Well we could do it in one day and we'll book a hotel once we're there " Kaine says.
"when are we going?" I ask.
"first thing in the morning".
"Oké I know this may be so childish, but can I sleep in the car because I'm so fucking tired" I say.
"Yeah sure" Kaine says turning the radio off.
"Thank you Kaine" I smile before making myself comfortable. once I close my eyes I immediately drift off.
two arms wrap around my shoulders and legs, carrying me out of the car.
they walk a while before I feel a soft mattress beneath me.
then he places a kiss on my forehead.
