The restaurant

i walk around for a bit and a gorgeous dress catches my eye.

it's a black dress whit ruffles.

"can i help you ma'am" a woman asks me.

"ehm" i think of an exuse to get the woman away.

"no, i'm fine thank you" i say and the woman nods and walks away.

i take a breath and pick my size, i can't help but take a peek at the price and see that it's $200 dollar.

whatever.

i walk further and look for some more clothing.

Then i walk past the underwear section.

I look for a good pair when i kaine's voice "what are you looking for?" He asks.

"Underwear" i reply whitout facing him.

"Why?"

"Because you dumped me into the sea, and now my clothes including my underwear" i tell him grabbing a pair of the hook and turning around.

"I still have heels right" i ask raising my eyebrow.

God i love playing rich.

"Oke miss additude, yes you still have black heels that'll match your outfit" kaine says walking backwards before turning to walk towards the cash register.

"Oke sir, since when do you talk fashion?" I walk behind him.

"It's not that hard" he shruggs.

"If you say so"

all of the sudden kaine turns to the left, instead of going straight forward towards the cash register.

"the cash register is up ahead you know" i nudge kaine's arm.

"yeah, i know" he says still going.

"then do something whit it" i say.

"no, because i don't need to go there right now".

"what, you just wanted to run out of here and not pay" i say confused.

"you know what" kaine turns to face me whit a sigh.

"just wait here if you're so nosy" he grabs me by my shoulders and presses me down on a bench.

"you do know the definition of nosy ,right?" i ask him putting the clothes in my lap.

" yeah, i graduated high school" kaine says starting to walk away.

"fyi it's a synonym for curious" i yell after him.

i take a deep breath and look around seeing the cashier staring at me.

i smile awkwardly and wave.

in no time kaine is already by my side again.

"so you got what you wanted?" i ask standing up.

"yep, let's go. we're already kind of running late" kaine walks to the cash register.

"hello, did you get everything?" the cashier asks.

"yes we did" i answer when kaine doesn't.

"nice to hear, your total is worth $920 dollar" i raise my eyebrows in response.

"right" i say softly.

next to me i hear kaine making some sort of disappointed noise.

He hands her a card.

She looks down whit confusion and up at him "let me grab my boss for a second" she says and runs off.

I furrow my brows as i watch her leave.
