I wake up on the floor and the first thing i feel is my head hurting really much. I shift my weight to my elbows and look around to see that im still in my appartement. I stand up and almost lose my balance. I try to search for a book. Although i cant remember much of yesterday, something tells me to search for a book. I look to my left and see a whole closet of books but none stand out. I brush it off and walk to my bedroom. I open the door to only see a room that does not look like mine in the slightest bit. Am i in someone's house or something, because this is not my house. I open the window to look outside and see the street that i live in . The bakery from across looks like it came out off the 19th century. The street below me is not filled whit modern cars instead i see the old models. I mean i love them don't get me wrong but i belief we are past those and almost no-one drives those anymore. I spot the street name above the pharmacy and yes this is my street in fact im sure this is my house.
I tear myself away from the window and look around some more. To my surprise i find stairs in my appartement. Last time i checked my appartement didn't have stairs inside. I walk down the stairs and find a kitchen, a grand kitchen. I look to my right and see my name written in big letters on the paper laying on the table. I take a look at the paper and see that they are of the house. I also see that this house in under my name, i don't know how this happend but im not angry about it. I have always wanted a big house so im not complaining. I take the stairs back up again and walk to my closet , as i open it i see a closet full of dresses. Blue dresses ,pink dresses , big dresses and small dresses. I am living my princess dream, i put on a baby blue dress.

(I chose this one but you can choose another one if you wish to ) I make some breakfast and decide to see if the rest of the world has chanced just like my appartement. I open my door and apart from what i did see, is the rest different too. Its older, the building are older too they are in the style of the 19th centurie. I go for a walk to look more into the city.
After a while i hear a scream and i run to were i think the sound comes from. I turn around the corner and see a woman falling from a doorstep and her bag flying after her . I quickly make my way over to her and help her up "are you alright ?" I ask. She doesn't answer me but instead she looks at the door whit a scared expression on her face. A man stands in the doorstep screaming and pointing at the woman. "Please sir calm down" i try to talk whit him which is probably not wise to do. "Go away, mind your own business" he scowls at me. "Why should i ,your the one causing a scene" i say to him. He walks up to me and gets in my face but i do not take a step back. "You know what lady you should go away before there are consequences" he threatens me. "And what are those" i say. As a result i feel his hand striking my face. I touch. My cheek and look at him in shock , i didn't think that he would take it this far. " know your place, woman shouldn't back talk to a man" he says whit a grin. Then he turns around and walks back to what i assume is his house. He turns to look at the woman and spits "Don't come back again".
Whit that he is gone. I turn to the woman and she breaks down "please ma'am i don't know what to do help me please" she begs me. When i don't answer immediately she goes on her knees "please i don't have a home, i have no were to stay". I remember the quote that stands on the book -only one decides to chance the world- . "I believe i have a spare room at home so you can stay whit me if you want" i tell her. She flings her arms around my neck and hugs me "thank you so much". I remove her arms awkwardly and smile kindly. I help her pick up her stuff and walk back to my place.
I put the key in the key hole and open the door. " you have a gorgeous house" she says. I laugh politely at her and nod . "I'll show you around" i offer her. After a while we sit down on the couch in the living room. The woman removes the hat she was wearing earlier and this blond hair falls out and reaches just below her shoulder, she has got blue eyes and a kind look on her face now she looks pretty young. "Im so sorry for not introducing myself, hi im Emma im 18 years old" she tells me. I respond whit "hello Emma im Ryann and im 17 and in a few weeks 18" i smile. "Not to be rude or something, but what happend to you out there?" I ask. " well its a long story" she says questioning if she should tell me or not. "Well i have got all day" i say. "Oke if you insist" then she starts to tell me her story.
She was only 15 when her parents sold her to this man, instead of being a happily married couple she would be a maiden while he would go out all day and only return at night. She didn't see him nor was she allowed to go out . She once needed to visit her ill mother, once he found out he was furious. End of story.
"That is so sad, i'm glad that you got away." Emma nods in return. After a long while of chatting, and getting to know each other . The sun sails down i make us some dinner, and we part our ways. Once i have locked all the doors i look at the dirty dishes and consider cleaning them. I way to lazy too do that i'll do it tomorrow . I see my bed and almost dive in. What a long day it has been, i pretty much saved someone so im happy about that. I get out of bed and switch the lights of i run my way back to the bed and dive for real in now . Whit that im out like light. ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— 1159 words is some more than yesterday but i really want to make it to the 2000 so yeah. This was so hard to write because i wanted to do it about law and rules first but was like yeah no not today. Also shout out to my friend because Emma is pretty much based on her ( not the past tho). I hope you liked the second chapterrr. Question: should i end up whit her going to sleep or not? 24-07-23 Oh god it is already past midnight so it is actually 25-07-23 but yeah
