back to the start

I open my eyes and expect to see John and clarrisa, to my surprise they aren't here.

I sit up and look around, im just in my own room.

my room.

I smile and stand up. opening my curtain I see that the sun is coming up. that means that i woke up early. Im not really a fan of waking up early, well I mean around 6 am or earlier. I don't really find it irritating to wake up around 7 or later. I grab some pants and a shirt and walk downstairs.

while walking down the stairs I look at myself in the mirror.

"I look like shit" mumle.

"Yeah you do" I hear a voice coming from downstairs.

"rude" I look down to see that it's Kaine. it takes me by surprise that he would say something to me.

I mean didn't we kiss yesterday??.

"good morning to you too" I say. I don't recieve an answer from him. "Helloo, earth to Kaine" I wave I front of him.

"What" he snaps at me.

"Woah chill man, no reason to get angry" I put my hands up as if a cop stood in front of me. "Why are you so grumpy, I mean yesterday you weren't" I tell him.

"just shut up, I'm not in the mood" Kaine's says. "jeez oké" I turn around and grab some paper. I reach for a pen and sit down at the Table.

I begin to write something that I have to do today.

kaine snatches a sheet from me and sits across from me. "what are you drawing?" I ask.

"Nothing, I don't draw" he says cold.

"Why are you so angry, what happens to the Kaine from yesterday" "that was just emotional, you can't expect everything to be the same after you were gone for a month can you" He stands up to face me. "I mean that's ridiculously dumb" Kaine scoffs.

I stand up from my chair and step in front of him.

"you know what, maybe I did expect it. maybe I did think that everything would be the same Kaine. but I guess I'm just ridiculously dumb" I say in his face before turning on my heels and storm of to my room.

"what a dick" I mumble to myself.

I sit infront of my bed and let my arms lean on my knees.

I just stare forward to my wall and do nothing.

I'm pretty sure I fell asleep because suddenly the light became bright and the silence became not so silent because em and Brian wake up precise at the same time.

I guess they had slept in Emma's or Brian's room.

at least she has someone who is exited to see her. I really am surprised whit Kaine this morning. "that was just emotional. you can't expect everything to be the same after you just left for a whole month" I mock Kaine.

"stupid hoe that he is" I say to myself still angry or should I say furious for what he did. I mean what could I have possibly done to stop the kidnapping from happening. thinking it's not really kidnapping it's more like forcing me to stay when I didn't even want to leave. I do really miss Charlie, he was such a cute German shepherd. Charlie really was the best police dog. I once was allowed to go whit uncle John to the police station. that was really cool.

maybe I should pay him a visit this week.

well I guess I should go downstairs and see if Kaine had an apology ready.

I open my door to face Em standing right in front of it. "Holy shit you scared the living soul out of me. what's up" I say

"Hey ya wanna go do something today, just the two of us" she asks.

"yeah sure, what do you have in mind?" I ask.

"I don't know maybe go to the beach if that's anywhere near?" Em suggests.

"no that's nowhere near that's more than I think an hour or two driving. we're literally surrounded by forest and more forest. we could go to a lake I think its nearby" I say.

"The lake a hundred procent" Em smiles.

"sure ya wanna rent a boat?" I ask. "We could rent just a cute boat, it doesn't have to be too big" She says.

"Let's go have breakfast" I loop my arm through hers.

we walk downstairs and see that the food is already cooked.

"So how's yall day going" Brian asks.

"Ask Kaine" I say when Em and Brian look at us.

"Ask her" Kaine says back.

"I have a name" i remind him.

"oh do you?" he asks. "Yeah I do" I say back. "Guys stop arguing" Em says snapping both of us out of it.

I give Kaine a glare before eating the rest of my food and going upstairs leaving the rest at the table.
