Kim Hyejin

"Hyejin-a, have you heard about kidnapping?" Seokjin-shi asked me and panic took over me.

"What? Who got kidnapped?" I am about to lose my shit as it is scaring me to death.

"Don't worry he woke up", he is laughing hysterically and I didn't get him at all but I started laughing at his wind-shield-wiping laugh.

"Oh my god! It's kid-napping!" I lost it too after realising what he meant and ended up laughing which resulted in snorting and we both laughed out of our lungs.

We are in our kitchen preparing everything we want to eat. He is doing one dish while I am chopping and then exchanging our roles.

Tae came in between, took strawberries and went off giving a I-am-done-with-you-people-I-can't-withstand-his-lame-jokes look.

"I only know 25 letters in alphabets", he pouted and looked at me while stirring the stew.

"......", I couldn't say anything and I am preparing myself for the upcoming snorts.

"I don't know 'Y'", he said, quoting the Y and we again lost it, laughing and trying hard to not lose balance and end up on the kitchen floor.

We are in our home. In our kitchen. We are cooking for our family. We are laughing at his jokes. We are happy. We are in love.

I am in my dreams. He is not there. I am alone now.

I found myself in Tae's room which is located downstairs when I opened my eyes and I clearly remember I was in Seokjin-shi's room which is our room when I was conscious earlier.

All the laughs that I have seen before are in my dreams and in reality I am alone.

All alone.

It took lots of strength to get up from where I am sleeping and the unfamiliarity is causing nausea. I want to reach my room as soon as possible as I can't lose the invisible warmth of my husband that is still lingering in our room.

"Are you okay, Hyejin-a? How are you feeling now?" I heard the deep voice coming from behind me and I saw Tae coming out of the restroom that is in his room.

He must have read the questions on my face and my silence, "you are passed out in your room", he said dryly and I am not sure what made him this upset because he seemed more angry than upset.

"You brought me here then?" I asked him as something not connecting to the dots I have in my mind.

I feel like I forgot something. Someone.

"No", he paused and left a heavy sigh, "Jungkook brought you here and you were unconscious then", he finished and glimpses of the encounter with the said man came into my mind.

"Who is Jungkook? I don't know him. I mean I never heard his name all these days", I am in confusion whether they didn't mention or I didn't notice.

"Can we not discuss him? I am worried about you right now. Are you okay or not? Let's go to hospital, it's for better", he snapped at me and I have never seen him like this.
