"It's my fault..." Madam Lian's voice seemed to have aged more and more. "If I wasn't so busy finding that damn plant, I should have found her earlier."

The veteran jianghu doctor felt nothing but self-blame.

Long Xu Le was emaciated, her burns and wounds were infected beyond normal. There was no doubt that she was only alive today through sheer will.

Xiao Hao didn't know how Adrina made it so that they have good accommodations despite his status as a wanted man.

After making sure they had enough to go by for a month, the Persian Prince left. Chief Xiao couldn't care less. Taking care of Xu Le was the first priority.
