Feng Yanyan gawked at the approaching lady.

"Why so surprised? Don't you miss your only elder sister, little fifth?" Feng Guyan, dressed in riding clothes, looked more excited than him.

Yanyan wilted. "I'm fairly certain you didn't miss me."

You just wanted an excuse to leave your noisy kids and go out alone.

He didn't say the last bit because he didn't want to die so soon.

"Quit yapping, I'll take you shopping today."

The heroic beauty jumped and landed on her horse perfectly. Her lean figure would never give away that she gave birth to three kids.

Feng Yanyan sighed. This older sister-cousin of his... saying that she would take him shopping... it might be a form of punishment instead.

Just looking at her horrible and old robes was making his head ache.

He took a horse of his own and followed along.

"Will you be the one paying?" Fifth Young Master Feng trotted beside the older woman.

Feng Guyan snorted and waved a coin pouch. "Grandfather gave this."

"Wha- how come he never gives me?!"

Their bickering suddenly quietened down as they entered the noisy business district. Feng Yanyan got busy trying to recall which shops sold the best goods.

Even powder and rogue shops didn't escape his eyes. He promised his mother and grandmother that he would bring them the best quality cosmetics.

Well, best quality for the amount of silver given to Guyan.

The two had to leave their horses to a side for better access to the shops and stalls.

Feng Yanyan was like a fish thrown back into the water as he navigated between the shops with ease. His older cousin-sister was grateful that she could still follow him because of her martial arts but she was getting annoyed.

How could this shrimp be so energetic?

She volunteered to go with him to take a break from taking care of the kids. But she ended up looking after this kid too.

However, she was getting uneasy. Before coming here, Eldest Uncle kept reminding her of hidden dangers. But even if she did her best to widen her senses, she couldn't feel any hint of bad intent.

Was Eldest Uncle just anxious?
