It had been about a month later and it was the day of Janner and Sara's wedding day. They had it all planned out months before. Sara's favorite color was blue and so was Janner's. Whether it was because of Sara's eye color he never told. Leeli, Arundelle, and Maraly were with Sara in her room helping her with the final preparations she needed to get ready for. "You look nice Sara!" Maraly said as Sara walked in with her wedding gown. It was white with a light blue sash. Her hair had a matching light blue ribbon in it. Her heals were white and she had in blue diamond earrings. Her veil was so long it dragged behind her when she walked. "You look absolutely gorgeous!" Arundelle said. Leeli sat there, her eyes glowing. "I've always dreamed of this! Having a sister to help on her wedding day! Now I finally can!" She said as she jumped up and gave Sara a hug. Sara smiled and said, "I've always had that dream to! Having a sister as a maid of honor! Being there for her in her wedding day one day! I never thought I would!" Leeli smiled and sat back down. "You look really good." Maraly said. "I can't wait to see the look on Janner's face when he sees you." She said. Sara laughed. The two girls hugged and Sara said, "Thank you for being here. All of you. This means a lot to me!" "We wouldn't miss it for the world!" Maraly said. "Even if I have to wear a dress." They all laughed. Meanwhile, Kalmar and Artham were helping Janner. He had on a black pants and a white collared shirt. His robe was white with a hint of blue on it. Artham helped him put it on. "You look good." He said. Janner was nervous. You could tell. His forehead was beaded with sweat. "I'm scared." He said with a nervous laugh. "I can tell!" Kal said. "Calm down! You're acting so childish." Janner rolled his eyes. "What would you do if you were marring Maraly?" He asked. "Well I'd- umm, well, you see- i umm." He began but couldn't finish. "Exactly. So stop making fun of me." He said. They heard a knock on the door. "Can I see now? You men are taking forever!" It was Nia. "Let her in." Janner said. Artham opened the door and Nia walked in. She put her hand to her mouth and she bagan to cry. "Oh Janner! My baby boy is all grown up!" She ran over to him and hugged him. "Oh mom don't cry. Please don't." Janner said. Nia pulled away and wiped her eyes. "I'm sorry but I'm just- Oh Janner! I'm so happy!" She burst into more tears and hugged him again. "It feels like it was just yesterday you were a baby and now. You're all grown up! I love you so much Janner!" He hugged her back and said, "I love you to Momma. Thank you for everything!" She laughed and said, "Oh stop. Now Kal, Artham get ready!" Kal jumped up and ran to his room to put on his outfit. Artham laughed. "Yes mom." Nia gave him an annoyed stare. "Umm I mean. I'll do that. R-right away." He stuttered as he walked out. Janner and Nia laughed. They sat on the bed and Janner sighed. "Momma, I'm so nervous." He said. She laughed. "I can tell. You'll do great! Sara loves you right?" "Yes." Janner responded. "And you love her?" She asked. "Yes." Janner said again. "Then there's nothing to worry about. You and Sara were meant to be. Everything is going to be perfect!" She reassured him. "Momma can I ask you to do something for me?" Janner said. "Of course dear. Anything!" She replied. "Can you please not cry so much." He said with a laugh. Nia smiled and said, "I make no promises." She laughed as she hugged him. "Now I'm going to go get ready. I'll see you in a bit. Oh and one more thing! Make sure you don't see Sara before the wedding! It's bad luck!" Nia warned. "Oh come on Mom you don't seriously believe that?" Janner said with a sigh. "When your father and I got married he saw me to early and we lost the rings, the cake was eaten by birds, and he couldn't remember his vows. So yes, I believe that." She said as she walked off. Janner laughed to himself and got up. He looked at himself in the mirror and said, "This is it. No turning back. I can do this." He grabbed the cards that he was studying his vows from and said it to himself on the mirror. "Sara, I vow to love you with heart. No I mean with your heart. No! With all my mind. Gah! My heart!" He stumbled. "Wow. That was hard to watch." He heard someone say. He spun around and saw Leeli leaning on her crutch at the door. "Please tell me that you will do better than that." She said with a giggle. "I'm really trying but It's harder than you think." Janner said. "Let me see the cards." Leeli said as she walked in. Janner handed her the cards and she read them. Then she looked at Janner, looked at the cards, looked at Janner again, and ripped the cards in half while keeping perfect eye contact with Janner. "Hey! What did you do that for?!" Janner yelled. Leeli looked at him and said softly, "Janner, speak from your heart. Not a piece of paper. Good luck. I love you." She said as she gave him the ripped pieces of paper, gave him a big hug,  and walked out. Janner looked at the paper and threw them away. Leeli was right. He had to speak from his heart. He looked at his reflection one more time and walked out of the room. He went to the courtyard where he, Artham, Kal, and Nia (who insisted on being with Janner) would ride to the beach where the wedding would take place. Sara, Leeli, Maraly, and Arundelle would be in another carriage. "Oh this is so exciting!" Nia exclaimed. "Remind me what time will the food be served again. I'm already starving." Kal complained as his stomach rumbled. "Remind me why I made you my best man again." Janner joked. Kal punched him in the shoulder and they laughed. "How are you feeling Janner?" Artham asked. "To be honest. Extremely nervous. But also extremely excited." Janner replied. "Well that's everyone I suppose." Artham said. Then they got to the beach. The guests were already there and Janner and Kal walked to their spots. Kal would stand behind Janner. Janner looked at the empty seat next to Nia. It was set aside for one person. Esben. There was a little sign Leeli had made that said,
~Here in Spirit. Esben Wingfeather.~ Janner smiled. He wished Esben could have been there. The wedding music broke into his thoughts and he stood up straight. He hadn't even noticed that Leeli and Maraly had already stood in there positions. Janner saw that Leeli had put a light blue ribbon all around her crutch and they had little flowers in it. It was matching her headband. Then Janner looked down the aisle and saw the flower girl walk down with little white rose petals. Then, Sara appeared. Janner was stunned. She looked so beautiful. She smiled softly when her eyes met Janner's. She had a bouquet of white flowers with a blue one in the middle. Her eyes seemed to glow brighter and brighter as she got closer and closer to Janner. When she got to Janner her smile grew bigger. The priest bagan the ceremony and Sara whispered, "You look handsome." "You to! Umm well not handsome. Beautiful. You look beautiful!" Janner whispered back. She giggled quietly. Then it was time for them to say their vows. "Sara, I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times, 'How did I end up with someone like you?' You light up my world. You saved my life. Literally. You are my everything. I vow to be with you through it all. I vow to love you and care for you and give you the best life I can. Because you deserve everything you want and more. I love you Sara." Janner promised. He looked at Leeli who gave him a thumbs up. He had done it! He said it from his heart! "Janner, I was so scared when you died all those years ago. I was heartbroken. But when you sat up again, my heart was full! The piece that of my heart that had died with you, had come back alive with you. You are so incredible and funny! I vow to love you with all my heart and to be there for you. To help and care for you. To support you and to enjoy every minute I have with you. I love you to, Janner Wingfeather!" She promised. They looked at each other and smiled. "Do you Janner Wingfeather take Sara Cobbler to be your wife as long as you both shall live?" The priest asked. "I do." Janner said as he looked deep into Sara's eyes. "Do you Sara Cobbler take Janner Wingfeather to be your husband as long as you both shall live?" He continued. "I do." Sara said with a smile. "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." Janner took Sara's hands and they kissed. The whole crowd cheered and Janner and Sara's eyes met. They both smiled. "Let's walk down that aisle Mrs. Wingfeather." Janner said. Sara giggled and they held hands as the whole audience stood and clapped. Nia was sobbing, Leeli was clapping and tearing up, and Kal was clapping and mouthing, "When's the food served?" Janner looked at his Fathers seat and smiled. "I wish you could have been here." He said quietly. Then he and Sara got in their own carriage and rode around the kingdom. Everyone was lined up all around the kingdom waving flowers and ribbons, signs that said "Congratulations!". Sara's veil flew behind her and the sun made her eyes sparkle. "Wow." Janner said. "I am one lucky guy." Sara looked at him and smiled. "I am one lucky girl." She said. They held hands as they waved at the villagers throwing flowers at them and singing songs. They went to the castle and that's were the banquet would be held. When the guests arrived to the castle, Nia ran up to Janner and hugged him. "Oh Janner! I'm so happy for you! For you both!" She said as she let go of Janner and hugged Sara. "Sara Wingfeather. Now, my daughter. I love you so much as well." Sara smiled and said, "Thank you Nia. You are like a mother to me. Thank you for helping me all these years. You mean so much to me." Just then, Leeli and Kal came and gave them hugs to. "YES!! It's finally happening! I have a sister!" Leeli sang. She ran up and gave Sara a big hug. "I told you you could do it Janner! You spoke from your heart! I knew you could!" She exclaimed as she ran up and hugged him to. Kal was next. "You guys did awesome! I love you guys to and all but I was just wondering..." he began. "The food is over there Kal." Janner said as he pointed to the tables at the end of the room. "Kal!" Nia began. "I'm joking." He said as he hugged Janner and Sara. "I'm happy for you guys. Hey Sara, why'd do you choose him again?" He asked as Janner flicked his ear. After an amazing dinner, Leeli went to the middle of the room and said as loudly as she could, "Everyone! I have an announcement!" Everyone stopped immediately and turned to look at her. "I just wanted to say, congratulations to the happy couple. Janner, you are such an awesome brother! I love you! Thank you for everything you have done for me! Sara, thank you for everything as well! You've shown me what having a sister is all about! I'm so grateful for you. I love you!" The crowd clapped and Janner and Sara raised their glasses to Leeli. Then Leeli continued, "Now will you to get over here? It's time for the dance to begin and I figured, we should let you guys go first." Everyone clapped again and Janner and Sara made their way to the center of the huge room. Then Leeli bagan to sing , "My love has Gone Across the Sea" Janner and Sara got in the dancing positions and began to dance. Never breaking eye contact. Just smiling and spinning. The rest of the crowd joined them but for them, it felt as if they were the only ones in the room. "I love you Janner!" Sara whispered "And I love you Sara!" Janner replied. The two danced the night away and Janner was looking at Sara Cobbler, the whole time. No, he was looking at his wife, Sara Wingfeather.
