———————-(Author end)———————

/Nya's POV:/
It has been a couple of days since I received the information that our parents were Ninja, but I still can't quite believe it. I mean, why would they just leave like that? Kai mentioned that they probably got killed and couldn't do anything about it, but if they were Ninja, couldn't they have protected themselves from those killers? I know Kai thinks our parents were really good people, but if you ask me, they were selfish jerks who didn't care about their children. And if they are still alive, I hope they never come back and ruin our lives even more then they already did.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by my brother, who had just come out of the test room. "Hey Nya, are you okay?" he asked.
"Yeah, sure! Why shouldn't I be?" I responded.
"You've been staring off into space," he informed me with a hint of concern in his eyes.
"Oh yeah, I was just lost in my thoughts," I explained. I was about to turn around and pack his stuff because he could finally go home today when he interrupted me. "And Nya, staring into space in thoughts is my thing! So don't start it too, okay?" he said in a teasing voice.
"Okay," I responded with a small chuckle and continued walking. I felt happy for him, he seemed to be fully his old self again.

/Kai's POV:/
I was so excited—I would finally get out of here! It's been a week since I got to the hospital, and now they just wanted to do some more tests to ensure my wounds had fully healed. I felt amazing! 'Maybe it was just a little bit too much stress, and I just needed a break' I thought.

I decided I would just forget about the past few months, but something deep inside of me seemed to tell me I shouldn't do so.

/Small time skip because I'm lazy/

When we got home, the first thing I did was take a shower. The hot water felt like heaven against my skin, and I refused to leave the shower. That went on until Nya turned off the hot water because she needed to get ready for some kind of "girls night" so I went out of the bathroom
When I got out I stuck my toung out to her, before I went to my room. I sat on my bed unsure of what to do next, when my gaze wandered through my room, my eyes fell on my guitar that leaned in the corner. I grabbed it and starded to practise a bit. I didn't sing something, because the doctor said my
Larynx got hurt a bit, when I had that fight. And so I needed to be careful with talking and of course singing too. I played a bit till I heared a knock at my door „Kai? I just wanted to tell you that I'm leaving now." The voice at the other side of the door said, „Ok, have fun with the girls!" I responded „And Kai, you sure you'll be Okay?" I reassured my little sister who had stepped in by now, looking worried. "Nya, I'm not 6 anymore! I think I can handle being alone by now, don't you think?" She pondered for a moment and then replied, "You're probably right." „Of course I am! But don't forget, if you're seeing any boys, I'm going to find out and kill them. Slowly and really painfully." I playfully punched her in the side, "Yeah, yeah, I'll remember like you already did with Ash, Luke, Dave, Kyle, Bryan... I could continue the list ages longer!" She laughed. "Anyway, just have fun tonight, okay?" She nodded, "That's already for sure! Bye, Kai!" "Bye!" she then waved and left my room, closing the door behind her.

And with that, I was alone. I played the guitar a little bit longer before deciding to go to bed. As I drifted off to sleep, I found myself entering a restful but dreamless slumber.

/Jay's POV/ (The morning of Sensei Wu's and Jay's meeting)

I arrived at the location indicated by the coordinates. To my surprise, it was a monastery. "Why did I come here again?" I asked myself as I noticed the amount of steps I had to climb in order to reach the huge building. After an hour of exertion, I finally made it to the monastery. I searched for the old man, only to find him standing at the bottom of the steps. "Please don't tell me I have to go down there again," I whined. The man simply looked at me, and for a brief moment, I thought I saw a mischievous smile on his lips. Taking it as a sign, I rolled all the way back down the steps. As I reached the bottom, I realized I had bruises all over my body from those silly stone steps. „Uuuuugh" I let out a groan when I Stood back up. "So, what did you want to talk about?" I asked, a bit annoyed. "First, we have to go get my tea cup!" he responded. "Let me guess, it's up there, isn't it?" I asked, facepalming. I thought the son of the first Spinjitzu master would know better than to forget his freaking tea in such an imposing monastery! The man simply nodded. "Is there an elevator at least?" I asked, surprised by the answer. "Of course there is! Right in front of me," came the response. I looked around, confused. "Where is it?" „You better should ask who is it." „Wait, what?" That's when I finally understood what he meant. "No, no, no, no, no, no, there's no way I'll be doing this!"

...a few minutes later...

How can one old man be so heavy?" I exclaimed, panting heavily. I still couldn't believe that this crazy man had convinced me to carry him up here willingly! "Don't ask, just walk!" was the only thing he said. When we finally reached the top of the mountain, he quickly went inside the monastery doors, leaving me lying on the floor, struggling to not black out from exhaustion. When he came back outside, he didn't have anything in his hands. So I asked, gasping for air, "Where... is... the... fucking tea cup?" „Language! And, I realized I had forgotten the tea cup in my bag." "And where's the bag?" I questioned. "At the bottom of the mountain, of course!" he replied. I had to hold myself back from strangling the old man. "What?" I yelled. "Let's hurry back down now!" he said, as calm as if this was a usual thing.

I carried him back down again, and as soon as we reached the bottom, he reached into his pocket, looked at his clock, and informed me, "Oh, it's already late! You should head back home now! Tomorrow, same time, same place!" And with that, he sprinted up the steps, reaching the monastery in less than a minute. "He said he was too old to go up all these steps!?" I said to myself, as if I was trying to convince myself.
