————————/author end/—————————Darkness surrounded me as I struggled to see my surroundings. I attempted to walk out of the dark cloud, but my feet didn't budge. In fact, I couldn't even feel them. Panic welled up inside me as I shouted, "Shit, shit, shit!" My mind raced, trying to recall a similar situation, but my memory failed me. My chest tightened, and a sharp pain shot through my right wrist. With all my strength, I raised my hand to inspect the source of the pain. What I saw froze my blood. No...no, no, no. Everything suddenly started fading away, and the next thing I remember is lying on the ground, my body covered in sweat.
/???'s POV:/
„Where am I?" I pondered, still disoriented, before I remembered what was going on. Then, a voice broke the silence, "Who said that?" My weaker half asked. I responded with frustration, "You! You idiot!" He seemed confused, not understanding the situation. "What do you mean with 'you'?" he stammered, realizing he was alone.
Man, I still can't believe this is the same person as me... „When I say 'you', I mean you! I am you! Are you really that dumb? Haven't you figured it out already? I never thought you could be so idiotic!"
„Hah, this must be another nightmare. Yeah, that's what it is! I must've eaten something wrong yesterday!" He tried to make sense out of everything, but I just ignored him. I had more important things to focus on at the moment, like how we both ended up in control at the same time!
/Kai's POV/
'What kind of nightmare is this? Haven't I woken up already?' I wanted to get up and get some water when suddenly I felt resistance. "What do you think you're doing?" the voice in my head questioned. I paused, realizing I didn't have to explain myself to some strange voice inside my head. I brushed it off and continued with my plan. The voice sighed in response, and in that moment, I whispered to myself, "I'm going insane."
„Yeah, that must be it! I'm going insane! Ha... hahahaha," I bursted out laughing. "Believe me, you already are..." came the response. I stopped laughing and stated, "But if you say you're me, and I'm you, wouldn't that mean you're insane too?"
"I never said I wasn't," said the 'other me' "Look, because you're too oblivious and too much of a jerk to understand what's going on, I'm going to give you the explanation that you're looking for..."
