When Lloyd came to, his head throbbed, and his vision was blurry. He could feel cold stone beneath him and a dull ache where Coco had gripped his arm. As his vision cleared, he found himself back in the basement, his hands bound once more. He twisted his wrists, testing the ropes, but they were even tighter than before.

"Awake already?" a familiar voice sneered. It was the hooded man he had blasted with his strange, newfound power. He loomed over Lloyd, his shadow casting an eerie shape against the basement walls.

Lloyd struggled to pull himself up, glancing around the room. Garmadon was still tied up in the corner, but he looked more alert, his eyes fixed on Lloyd with a blend of relief and worry.

"Why are you doing this?" Lloyd spat, his voice a mix of anger and fear. "And why is Coco... Why did she do this?" It wasn't like he cared about Coco anyway, it... was just out of pure interest...

The hooded man chuckled darkly, leaning closer. "She did it because she understands, boy. You have power—dangerous power—and we're here to help you control it."

Lloyd stared at him in disbelief. Sure he hadn't practically seen Coco as a part of his family, but he also wouldn't have expected the sweet caring Coco to be a traitorous snake. „She wouldn't..."

"Wouldn't she?" the man taunted, an unsettling smile creeping onto his face. "Coco's known about your power for a long time. In fact, she's the reason we know about it. She's been waiting for the right moment to... help you unlock it. And now, it seems she has her answer."

Lloyd's heart sank, realization dawning on him. He didn't want to believe it, but the pieces were falling into place. "She... she betrayed me," he whispered, his voice barely audible.

Garmadon shifted against his restraints. "Lloyd, listen to me. You're stronger than they think. Whatever power you have, it's yours—not theirs. Don't let them manipulate you."

But the man just laughed, the sound echoing off the cold stone walls. "You really think that, Garmadon? This boy is nothing without guidance. Without us."

Just then, the door creaked open, and Coco entered the room, her eyes fixed on Lloyd. There was a cold detachment in her gaze, and any trace of warmth or kindness had vanished.

"Coco..." Lloyd's voice broke with a mix of rage and betrayal as he looked up at her. "Why?"

She sighed, crossing her arms as she looked down at him. "Lloyd, this is for your own good. You don't understand what's inside of you—what it could do without control. These men can help us... help you."

"I don't need their help!" Lloyd retorted, anger bubbling up inside him. "You had no right to lie to me. To do this!"

Coco's expression didn't waver. "Sometimes, the truth isn't what you want to hear."

Lloyd's fists clenched, the strange energy beginning to spark again. "Well, maybe you should hear this—"

The energy burst forth from him, stronger than before, sending a shockwave across the room. The hooded man stumbled backward, and for a brief moment, Coco's cold expression faltered. Lloyd felt a surge of strength, more intense than anything he'd ever experienced, and he broke free from his restraints.

Without a second thought, Lloyd bolted across the room to Garmadon, ripping at the ropes binding his father's hands.

"We're getting out of here," he whispered fiercely.

As the door slammed open and more hooded figures flooded the room, Lloyd and Garmadon exchanged a quick, determined glance. Whatever his power was, Lloyd knew one thing: he wasn't going to let anyone control it—especially not Coco.

Hey again, I'm so sorry for not updating so long, but I kinda left this fandom. I'll still finish this fanfic, but it'll probably take a while for the next update to come out since it's harder for me to get ideas when I'm not really interested in the fandom anymore. But for now, I hope you enjoyed.
