The Prophecy's Mistake | FEM LLOYD

𝖾𝗉𝗂𝗌𝗈𝖽𝖾 eight || 𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻, 𝘁𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝘆 ||

It was a lovely day, one might say. The sky was a beautiful bright blue with no clouds seen at all, birds were chirping and Jay was flirting. Perfect day, wasn't it?

All the other Ninja knew what he was up to and they all found it hilarious, Jay must be desperate if he resorted to picking up lines and taking his time with his hair to make it look amazing.

Not to mention, he was also wearing perfume which he thought was men's cologne but little did he know that Kai had lied to him intending to embarrass him in a way to never flirt with his sister ever again.

Zane and Cole were both snickering beside each other as they tried to keep quiet, they didn't want to disturb Nya but it was a little hard when Jay was holding his head up with his two arms and hearts in his eyes.

Jay was barely paying attention to what Nya was talking about, he could only think of how breathtaking she looked and how her movements were always so smooth.

It was like he was examining every tiny detail about her, it was kind of cute in a way but then again, also kinda creepy. However, as much as Kai wanted to disagree, he knew that Jay would never hurt Nya.

So, for at least the day, Kai would let it slide.

"Some villagers found this skeleton of a Fangpyre a few miles away and by the looks of it, it must be over a hundred years old.

The venom from this Fangpyre still lingers so I'd be careful around it, although, I luckily found out that if you accelerate your heartbeat, hypothetically, it would reverse the effects."

Nya explained gracefully, like she always did but she always managed to make her lessons fun, unlike Zane who over-explained and made it dreadful. Nya then went on to uncover the cloak that was on top of the skeleton.

However, it seemed like Jay was the only one who paid attention to her lecture because the three other ninjas were off in their own world. Kai was rocking back on his chair, Cole was drawing a picture with his lacking art skills and Zane was seen staring off into space.

Oh, how it grinded Nya's gears, how no one was listening to her when she just told them about how she found an antivenom, how ungrateful her team was. Jay also found it rude and disrespectful as well.

Without any more explanation to be told, Nya was about to tell the boys that that was all she had but she found herself with her cheeks turning a bright red and her nose beginning to run.

She coughed to clear her throat before she asked them a question."Excuse me, uh, is someone wearing perfume? I'm severely allergic to perfume." Nya coughed again into her arm and when she was done she covered her nose.

Kai chuckled as Jay turned to look at him with the biggest mean face he'd ever done as well as a look of clear embarrassment written all over his face, he was so going to prank Kai sooner or later.

"You told me it was men's cologne!" Jay whispered to not get Nya to hear him or else he would just drop being a Ninja and move to California to avoid the embarrassment that this would bring him.

It was hard not to laugh at Jay, who was currently sweating buckets at Kai's little prank. "Meh, I get them mixed up." He shrugged with a careless grin on his face, earning laughs from the two other Ninja while Nya and Jay stayed stoic as ever.

Turns out, Jay will get mad if you humiliate him in front of his crush and start death staring at the Fire Ninja. If looks could kill, then that was the one.

To ease the tension, Cole changed topics. "Well, looks like class is over! Time to go beat some Serpentine ass before they find any Fangblades." He smiled as if he were proud of himself for 'assessing' the situation.
