NOTE:  And this is it for season 1! Thank you everyone who decided to stay and read my story! Even if it did take 2 years... Lol. Anyway, I'll try my best to find time and work on this! Love you guys!! (And for a little celebration, I'm made a new cover!)

The Great Devourer's already huge body grew twice its original size after eating Wu and Pythor. It must've been at least the size of three whales by now. Even if the Ninja wanted to fight, they knew their best option was to run.

Quickly after Cole pulled Lydia away from running to her doom, Kai shouted at everyone to run to the Bounty as quickly as they could. No one wanted to imagine what it would be like as snake food.

Cole even had to carry Lydia as they ran to the Bounty because she would not stop kicking or crying. If he had left her there, she most likely would've run into the open mouth of the Devourer.

Once they made it on the deck, Nya immediately ran to the control room so that she could start the engines, while everyone else made sure that the Devourer wasn't getting too close.

"There's no wind! And we only reserved fuel!" Nya yelled out to the others with her voice, not using the intercom because it would take too much time.

"Use it!" Kai yelled back to his sister as he kept eyes on the snake hurtling towards them at a very scary pace.

The Devourer started getting a little too close to the Ninja's liking, so they ran upstairs to where Nya was located, hoping that the leverage would save them from their deaths.

Jay, like the yapper he was, made his observations known. "Uh, hate to tell you this, but objects in the mirror are closer than they appear!" Although what he said could be seen as funny, his voice was laced with fear.

"Working on it. Blasters in full!" Nya exclaimed as she kept on pressing buttons. Normally, Jay would make a joke that she's just playing around with buttons but he has bigger matters on his plate. Such as his life.

After a minute of constant stress and having no idea what was going on, the Bounty lifted into the air and flew up above the ground. However, it could not go up high enough due to only using fuel.

Kai laughs as he feels a rush of adrenaline throughout his body. "Haha! Take that stupid snake!" He looked into the rear mirror as he saw that they were quickly gaining distance.

"Uh, I think it heard you." Jay noticed as he saw the Devourer take a bite out of one of the buildings in Ouroboros. The snake then started to grow even more. Seemingly, whatever it consumed was its way of growing.

The fire Ninja glared at Jay, wanting to make a snarky remark, but Cole spoke up before either of them could say anything. "Nya, we gotta go faster, That thing is gaining on us!"

"I'm aware!" Nya snapped, not liking how many people were telling her what to do. "We're going as fast as we can, I'll try to make it to Scattered Canyon." She tried to pull down even more on a lever, but they just couldn't go faster.

Zane interrupts, after staying silent for the entire time. "Probability of us making it is less than eight percent." He used his robotic brain to figure that one out.

Even so, no one found him helpful.

"Never tell me the odds!" The oldest girl screamed as she messed around with the control panel, unappreciative of the lack of help she was receiving from the others.

Nya's hands flew across the controls, sweat pouring down her face as the Great Devourer loomed ever closer. The ship's engines roared, but the Bounty wasn't moving fast enough. The snake's massive form filled the rear-view mirror, growing ever larger with each building it devoured.
