The Chosen Ones (Hyunlix, Minsung, Seungin, Binchan)

Chapter 18

"Whew!" said Changbin, running a towel through his hair "That was a good workout."

"Yes it was." says Chan. The of them have practically become workout buddies, since they both focus on the same all-around routine.

Jeongin and Seungmin have their own routine, that's why they finished earlier than the elder boys.

"Hey, we're gonna go hit the shower." Changbin tells the 2. Jeongin and Seungmin were already sitting down engaged in conversation while waiting for them to finish.

"Ok." says Jeongin, as the 2 head out to the showers. "You know, tomorrow is Jisung's birthday."

"That's right, you did mention that before." Seungmin says "And Lix's is the day after."

Suddenly Jeongin's phone starts to ring. He looks at the caller ID. "Well speak of the devil." he says, taking the call. "Hi Ji, we were just talking about you."

"Hey," says Jisung "is Binnie with you? There's something we wanna talk about."

"Changbin's in the showers right now with Chan," Jeongin says "and Minnie's here with me."

"That's great!" says Jisung "Meet us all at Changbin's then. We're gonna plan how we're going to spend mine and Felix's birthday!"

"By all, you mean," Jeongin started to say.

"Me, Jinnie, Minho and Felix." Jisung says "We'll be here waiting for you. Bye."

"Everything ok?" Seungmin asks.

"Uh, yeah." says Jeongin "Jisung must've read my mind, because he said the whole gang is waiting over at Changbin's to plan out how we're gonna spend his and Felix's birthdays."

"That's awesome." says Seungmin "By the way, there's something I've been meaning to talk to you about."

"Oh?" says Jeongin "What about?" He then sees Seungmin taking a hold of his hand, rubbing the top of his palm with his thumb.

"I've been wanting to ask you something for a while now, but I couldn't get the words to say it right," Seungmin says "I guess now's a time as any. Jeongin, I like you. You're sweet, affectionate, have a beautiful smile and are just simply adorable. I would love it if you would be my boyfriend."

Jeongin smiled the biggest smile in his life. "Of course I'll be your boyfriend!" he exclaimed, almost screaming. He took his free hand and placed it on Seungmin's cheek, pulling him close until their lips clashed. They savored the taste of each other's lips in a passionate kiss. They slowly pulled away, but were still very close, so much so that their noses were rubbing against each other.

"I love you Minnie." said Jeongin.

"I love you too Innie." said Seungmin.

"Ahem!" They hear someone say. They both get startled, and when they turn to see who it is they see Changbin and Chan looking at them with an "awww" look on their faces. "We hope we're not interrupting anything." Changbin says.

Seungmin smiles standing up, holding Jeongin's hand as he follows in suit. "We're officially boyfriends!" he says, causing Jeongin to blush.

"Congratulations you 2!" Chan says "I'm really happy for you."

"Yeah." says Changbin "We always thought you 2 made a cute couple."

"A-anyways," Jeongin says, trying to change the subject "Jisung called, he wants us all to meet at your place Changbin to talk about him and Felix's birthdays."

"Oh, ok." Changbin says "Let's go then." The boys get in there cars and drive back to Changbin's.

Once there Hyunjin and Felix, Minho and Jisung and Seungmin and Jeongin tell each other about their official boyfriend status. After receiving congratulations all around, they started talking about how to plan for the back-to-back birthdays.

"As much as I would love for all of us to go to the mansion," Minho says "dad is not gonna like that one bit."

"Why is that?" Jisung asks curiously.

Minho sighs "Dad doesn't like people who aren't from the same social class as us. He doesn't even know about us being friends."

"Or boyfriends." Felix added "He'd kill us if he found out about us." He says this while looking at Hyunjin.

Once again that sadness and anger in Hyunjin's eyes is present, even though he tries his best to hide it.

"Our dad is the same way." Chan says "Actually they both would hate it even more if they knew their sons were gay."

So he hates people from the lower class and is a homophobe. It seems like every time Hyunjin learns something new about Felix and Minho's father, the more ire he feels towards him. And he can't help but remember the toxic individual his own father was.

"So then what do we do?" Hyunjin asks, trying to clear his head from these thoughts that keep forcing their way in.

"Wait," Minho says, getting an idea. "Why don't we use our timeshare?"

"Timeshare?" Jisung asks "You mean like a hotel room?"

"Kinda," says Felix "but bigger and better. We have ours as a presidential suite. It's massive with multiple rooms. More than enough for all of us!"

"That sounds awesome!" says Jisung "Let's do it!"

"Alright then, it's settled." says Hyunjin "Let's start packing." A lot of Hyunjin and Jisung's clothes were still in their suitcases and duffle bags since they haven't fully settled in yet despite all that's happened.

Still, Hyunjin, Jisung, Changbin and Jeongin managed to pack enough clothes and other things they would use in their stay for the next couple of days.

"Next we're gonna have to go to our place to pack." says Minho.

"I just hope none of the bodyguards notice them." Felix says, worriedly.

"Lix, if you're worried, why don't you just drop us off at the timeshare, then go pack your stuff." Hyunjin suggests.

"That actually might be a better idea." Felix agrees "Ok, let's go."
