"Welcome home." says Cindy as she greets everyone. All 10 boys look at their surroundings at what looks like a giant command center. Like the type you see in the movies with monitors and maps everywhere.
"Home?" Jisung says, confused. "What do you mean home?"
"You'll all be staying here for a while." says Joel. "I know it may be a lot to take in, but trust me, you'll be safe here."
"Safe from who?" Hyunjin asks. He, like all the others, have a lot of questions that need to be answered.
"Right now," Joel says. "Safe from all the drug lords that are gonna be after you. It turns out Lee and Bang had many connections to many drug lords in Seoul."
"What does that have to do with us?" says Minho.
"Me and Cindy have been busy making sure all those drug deals go 'belly up' if you know what I mean." says Joel. "Turns out their overlords suspected your father's were doing them dirty, and they've been sending what little forces they have left to try and eliminate their families."
"That means that, unfortunately, Mrs. Lee and Bang were killed by said men." Cindy says. "I'm sorry I couldn't save them on time. But I did manage to kill all the people responsible there, on both sides."
There was no mistaking the pain in the eyes of Minho, Felix, Chan and Seungmin to the news of their mother's deaths. Minho and Felix should've been more sad, but all their lives their mother was practically a stranger to them. Always neglecting them in favor of the glamorous lifestyle. And Seungmin's mom only became that way when she married Chan's dad.
"What about our dads?" Chan asked Joel. "Did you...?"
"Yes." Joel said. "I killed them. I had to. They were too far gone to save, especially your dad, Chan."
"He's right Chan." says San. "You're dad changed. He was never the same after he discovered the existence of superhumans. He became obsessed with becoming the most powerful drug lord along with Mr. Lee."
"Whoa, look at all this stuff." Jisung says, eyes glued to the many monitors. "You can see all of Seoul."
"Yes." says Joel. "With these." He opens his hand to create a familiar red bird the boys had seem before. "These are my little spies. They may look like ordinary birds, but they're much more than that. With them I've been keeping an eye on all you and your families."
"You've been spying on us?" says Minho.
"No." says Joel. "I've been watching over you. All of you. I do have to apologize for not being there in time to prevent Hyunjin from, being killed. But I was on an important mission. A mission in fact to get the very same power I used to resurrect both Hyunjin and San. However, I'll get into more detail later. First off, all of you need to rest. You've had, quite a hectic day to say the least."
"Follow me please." says Cindy, as she leads the boys out of the command center.
"Don't worry." Joel says as the boys are leaving. "After you're all good and rested, I'll explain everything to you. I promise."
Once they leave, they step outside to what looks like a giant lounge area, like what you would find in a hotel. It's massive space with what looks to have a glass ceiling, with clear skies outside, but no sight of the sun anywhere.
"Ok, stupid question." Jisung says. "Are we still on Earth?"
Cindy chuckles. "First off, there's no such thing as a stupid question here." says Cindy. "And second, no, we're not on Earth."
"What?!" Everyone says in unison.
"We're in space." Cindy says. "But don't worry, Joel will explain everything once you've all settled in and had a good long rest."
They all approached what looks like teleport pods that you would see in sci-fi shows and movies. "Alright, everyone get inside." says Cindy. The boys split in groups as they enter the pods, as Cindy presses a button that teleports them to what looks like a seemingly never-ending hallway with doors on each side. "We're here."
As the boys step out, they examine the doors and notice that each door is only a few feet apart from the next. This leads the boys to believe these rooms aren't spacious at all.
"You're kidding, right?" Changbin says. "Are these rooms or closets?"
"Don't be so quick to judge Changbin." Cindy says. "Go ahead, open them."
The boys all notice nameplates on the doors.
Hyunjin & Felix Minho & Jisung Chan & Changbin Seungmin & Jeongin Wooyoung & San
The couples all open their respective doors, only to see that their rooms are massive on the inside. In fact, they look almost identical to the rooms they shared on the timeshare they stayed in.
"Wow!" Felix said as he and Hyunjin entered their room. "It's beautiful! It looks just like our room Hyunnie." Hyunjin can only nod in agreement. The rest of the boys were in awe with their rooms as well. Chan and Changbin noticed that their room now had 1 bed instead of 2. Wooyoung and San's room wasn't modeled after any of the timeshare rooms but got a fancy one nonetheless.

"Is it just me, or does the layout of this place make absolutely no sense?" says Changbin.
"I promise, everything will be explained in due time." Cindy reassures everyone. They don't give it much thought as they all go inside their massive bedrooms and do their best to put these past few awful hours behind them.
A/N First off, wow, 12.6K reads?! Thank you so much. Second, back-to-back special chapters coming up. And third, the next 5 chapters will focus on all 5 couples adjusting to their new surroundings and situation. Originally I was planning on sending Woosan somewhere else to be safe, but I felt like they need an arc of sorts in the story.
