The Chosen Ones (Hyunlix, Minsung, Seungin, Binchan)

Chapter 25

After the movie was finished it was time for dinner. "That was a great movie." said Felix. "I love happy endings."

"Me too!" said Jisung. "Where are we going for dinner Minho?"

"I was thinking a nice fancy restaurant that we know of." said Minho.

"Lino," said Felix "if it's where I think you're talking about, that place has a strict dress code."

"Don't worry Lix." said Minho. "They know us there. I'm sure they'll let us go in no problem."

"I hope you're right." said Felix.

As soon as they reach the restaurant, they're immediately greeted by one of the waiters. "Why if isn't the Lee brothers." he said. "And the Bang brothers too. You're usual table I presume?"

"Actually no." said Minho. "We have a few more guests this time around. A table for 8 please."

The waiter looked at the other boys, seeing that they weren't dressed to the usual standard of the restaurant, but Minho was quick to catch this. "Don't mind how they're dressed." he said. "It's one of their birthdays today and I just wanted to do something special for him. The others are his brother and 2 best friends, so I want us all to take part in this celebration."

"I see." said the waiter. "Well you boys are our best customers, I'm sure we'll accommodate all you. This way please."

As they're walking to be seated, Jisung, Hyunjin, Changbin and Jeongin were busy taking in this brand new atmosphere. This is someplace that they could only dream of going since it was so out of their league.

"Wow." said Jisung in amazement. "This place is so big."

"And fancy." said Jeongin.

"I bet the food here costs more than what the average person makes in a month." says Hyunjin.

"Maybe even 2 months." said Changbin.

"Guys, it's not that expensive." Chan chuckled. "But I can understand where you're coming from. I'm sure not used to a place like this."

"Nope." the others said in unison.

"It's ok," said Seungmin. "The food here is amazing though. So just relax and enjoy yourselves."

They then reached their table. It was a rectangular table with 4 chairs on either side. Minho, Jisung, Jeongin and Seungmin sat on one end. While Hyunjin, Felix, Changbin and Chan sat across. The waiter handed everyone their menus. "May I suggest the wine of the day?" he said.

"Yes, that would be great." said Minho. The waiter bowed and went to go get the wine.

"We're not much drinkers." said Hyunjin. It's not so much that he and Jisung didn't want to drink, but they'd seen firsthand what drinking did to their father, and they didn't want to go down that path.

"Jinnie it's ok." said Jisung. "We're with friends, and we're not gonna get carried away. It's social drinking." Hyunjin looked like he was gonna say something but Jisung cut him off. "Jinnie listen to me, we're not dad, ok?"

Hyunjin was surprised by how mature Jisung was acting. "Well look at you little brother." he said. "You grew up so fast."

"Hey!" said Jisung. "I'm still me, ok? I just, don't want us to be tied to our past, that's all. We're ourselves, we decide how we live our lives."

Jisung was right, they're not their father. "Ok." said Hyunjin. The waiter returns with a bottle of the finest Rosé and poured it into each of the boys wine cups. They each had a sip.

"Wow, this is really good." said Hyunjin. "I've always heard of Rosé but never had it." All the other boys agreed.

"Glad you like it." said Chan. "We get this quite a few times." said Seungmin.
