Chapter 68

Seungmin and Jeongin

Jeongin eagerly led Seungmin to the special place he had planned for them. Once they arrived, Seungmin was surprised to see it was a dog cafe.

"Oh Innie, I love it!" said Seungmin.

"I knew you would." Jeongin happily said. "Come on, let's go inside."

The 2 of them ordered their food, or rather, Jeongin ordered the food. Seungmin was busy playing with the dogs in the pen, having the time of his life.

By the time their food arrived, Seungmin finally stopped playing with the dogs, washed his hands and joined Jeongin.

"You looked so cute playing with those puppies, I almost you were there." said Jeongin.

"What do you mean?" Seungmin asked.

"You're a puppy too." Jeongin said. "You just blended in."

Seungmin smiled when he realized what Jeongin meant. He leans in to give his boyfriend a peck on the lips. "I love you my little fox." he says.

"I love you too my little puppy." says Jeongin. The 2 of them eat their meal and go play again with the puppies once their done.

They're both transfixed on each other as they play with the puppies. "Wouldn't it be great if we had a puppy of our own?" Seungmin asks.

"Aren't you enough for me?" Jeongin playfully teased, earning a peck on the cheek from Seungmin.

"I'm serious though." said Seungmin. "I think it would be wonderful."

"I'm not against the idea." said Jeongin. "I'm just not sure if right now is the right time."

"Hopefully things will quiet down soon." said Seungmin. "And we can go back to leading normal lives."

"Aren't we trying to live normal lives already?" Jeongin said. "In the end, we'll never be 100% ordinary. We just have to try and adjust as best as we can."

"You're right Innie." said Seungmin. "One day we will."

"I'm sure of it." said Jeongin. "Well, let's head out now, there's still much to do."

"Ok my little fox." Seungmin said as he waves goodbye to the puppies.

For lunch, they head to a noodle restaurant and engage in casual conversations. They occasionally share a kiss here and there as well, looking like one of the most adorable couples there.

By the time dinnertime arrived, they decided to go to a fancy restaurant they saw earlier.

"This restaurant has a second floor dining area where you can eat on the open section if you like." said Seungmin.

"Wow." said Jeongin. "Dinner under the stars, how romantic."

They went to the second floor and got seated on the most opened area available. The air was cool but not too cold. The moon wasn't out but the stars shined like diamonds in the sky. It truly looked magical.

"This is such a beautiful evening." Jeongin said. There was no denying how happy he was that he got to spend the entire day with Seungmin without a hitch.

"It sure is." Seungmin said with a smile. "But not as beautiful as you."

"Sweet talker." said Jeongin. He was glad that no one could see just how much he was blushing. "I wish I could've given you something for your birthday, like what Minho gave Jisung or Hyunjin gave Felix."

"You don't have to give me anything Jeongin." Seungmin said. "Just you being here, spending time with me is the best gift you could ever give me. It's something that all the money in the world could never buy."
