The Chosen Ones (Hyunlix, Minsung, Seungin, Binchan)

Chapter 31

The next morning Hyunjin and Felix were the first ones to wake up. They were holding each other as they were the night before, naked and basking in the afterglow. "Do we have to get up?" Felix said with a pout.

"Unfortunately yes." said Hyunjin. "I remembered there's something I have to take of back home."

"Back at Changbin's?" Felix asked. "I can take you there."

"Not Changbin's," said Hyunjin. "My old home. There's some things I want to take out of there."

"Hyunnie," says Felix. "Have you ever thought about just living there, and taking Binnie and Innie to live with you?"

"I have." said Hyunjin. "I just, have so many bad memories there Lix. All the pain and suffering Ji and I had to endure there."

"But you can make new memories now Hyunnie." said Felix. "Don't let the past hold you back from enjoying the future."

Hyunjin smiled. "What a wise little angel you are." He says, kissing Felix on the lips. "I'll think about it. Let's take a shower shall we."

Felix nodded as the 2 finally got out of bed and into the shower. Chan and Changbin were already awake but still cuddling together in Chan's bed. Chan played with Changbin's hair. "Thank you again Bin." he said. "I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders."

"You're welcome Channie." Changbin says. "Our 'boys' will be fine. They all have each other, just like us." He kisses Chan on the forehead.

"I won't stop being there for them." Chan says. "They're family."

"Nor should you." says Changbin. "At least you won't be alone anymore in all this." The 2 of them hug and kiss on the lips before getting out of bed.

The rest of the boys were already lounging around in the living area, their bags all packed as they waited for the others to finish. "What does everyone have planned for today?" Jisung asks, to no one in particular.

"I'm planning on going to the gym along with Chan." says Seungmin. "Do you want to come too Innie?"

"Of course!" says Jeongin. "I'm sure Channie is coming too. He never misses a workout day. I figure he's gonna work twice as hard to make up for these past 2 days."

"What about you Min?" says Jisung.

"I don't know." says Minho. "I gotta see if Lix wants to do something." Almost on cue, Hyunjin and Felix left their room.

"Lix, we were just talking about you." says Minho. "You got any plans today?"

"Actually yes." says Felix. "Me and Jinnie are going to his place to take care of some things."

"Dad's place?" Jisung asks. "Why?"

"Well Felix got me thinking," says Hyunjin. "Maybe we can all move in there. You, me, Bin and Innie. There's plenty of room for the 4 of us." Hyunjin looks at Jeongin. "If you're interested."

"I would love to." said Jeongin. "But I have to see if it's ok with Binnie."

"If I'm ok with what?" says Changbin as he and Chan leave their room.

"Jinnie is offering for the 4 of us to live at his dad's house." says Jeongin. "Can we?"

"Are you ok with this Hyunjin?" Changbin asks. "You said you were hesitant because of all the bad memories you both experienced there."

"I did." said Hyunjin. "But I think we can move on from that and start over from scratch."

"Alright then." says Changbin. "You go work on that and we'll meet up after our workout."

"Sounds like a plan." says Hyunjin, as the boys go their separate ways. Hyunjin and his group arrive at his father's house, and he can't help but feel a little uneasy.

"Are you ok Hyunnie?" Felix asks, concerned. "Do you still want to do this?"

"Yeah Lix, I'm fine." says Hyunjin. "It just feels a little weird, that's all. I haven't been here since, the incident." Hyunjin takes a deep breath and steps out of the car with the others following in suite. He opens the door to find everything how it was, the living room a mess after the fight with their father. Hyunjin approached the area where the living room and kitchen meet to see tape on the floor outlining where his father's body was. Dried up blood on the floor. He was thankful it wasn't on carpet, so it could be cleaned easier. He remembers that night when the stranger saved their lives. It causes Hyunjin to place his hand on his head like he has a headache.

"Hyunnie?" says Felix. He holds Hyunjin's hand which causes him to snap back to reality.

"I'm ok." He says. "Let's go. We have to clear stuff up."

"Is there anything specific were looking for?" Minho asks as he and Jisung start to straighten things up around the house.

"I'm not sure." says Hyunjin. "We definitely need to clean this place up for sure. I'm going to check out my parent's room."

"I'll join you." says Felix. The 2 enter the bedroom, Hyunjin pausing for a second before proceeding. He had never entered his parents room in all the years they lived in that house. It was forbidden. He didn't know what to expect. He turned the lights on to find a relatively normal room. His parents had a queen sized bed and there was plenty of room for 2 people.

"This room can work nicely for Bin and Innie." says Hyunjin. "But these old sheets have to go." Felix chuckled at this. He looked the room and saw a picture of a couple nearby.

"Are these your parents?" Felix asks. Hyunjin simply hummed and nodded. "Your mum's really pretty."

"Thank you Lix." Hyunjin said, as a tear started to form in his eye but he quickly wiped it away. "That was taken before I was born. Mom showed it to me once. That's the only time I've ever seen my dad smile and be happy. He was never like that around me and Ji. It's like we took away his happiness."

"What do you mean Jinnie?" Felix asks. He noticed that Hyunjin wants to cry.

"I-I don't want to talk about it right now." Hyunjin says. "I'm sorry Lixie, I promise I'll tell you everything, but not right now. I hope you understand." He kisses Felix's forehead.

"I understand Hyunnie." says Felix. "I'll be here when you're ready to talk about it." Hyunjin smiles and gives Felix a big hug. As they're looking around the room, Hyunjin is suddenly drawn to look under his parents bed. What he sees surprises him. He sees 2 briefcases under the bed. He pulls them both out and sets them on top of the bed.

"I wonder what's inside." Hyunjin says. "Lix, come help me open these up." Felix nods as he joins Hyunjin over to the briefcases. They each grab one and open them, almost simultaneously. What they find inside shocks them. Money, a lot of money.

"What the Hell is this?!" Hyunjin says in shock.
