The divine Comedy: Lucifer's second act

Ch.49 Void

The archangels into the abyss,the home of the anti god khaos,A primordial god of destruction that serves as god's shadow.
"It's dark"
"Cold"
"And I can't see jack shit"
Said Lucifer as heed everyone through the darkness
"We've entered the home of one the first beings in this universe"
"The void"
Said Michael

It was a dark place filled with stars and galaxy's,it seemed pretty but there was an uncomfortable malevolent aura that surrounded the place.
The angels were the only source of light inside the void, illuminating it little by little.
They walked illuminating the void with their divine aura.

"Who dares cross my threshold"
Said a voice from the void
"It seems that heaven walking scum have entered my void"
"A sacred place if I say so myself"
"What are you scum doing here?"
Said the voice.

"We know who you are khaos"
"Don't play dumb with me"
Said Lucifer as his will to fight began to burn illuminating the void around him.
"Lucifer?"
Said khaos
"You think you and 6 other angels is enough to best the likes of me?"
"My oh my you really do underestimate my power"
"Have you considered throwing that pride away"
"Or has it still lingered ever since i turned you into phanes?"
Said khaos Taunting Lucifer.

Lucifer stood at the brink of darkness as the devil's wrath filled his very soul.
He looked at his brethren with determination.
"Brothers, the time has come to face Khaos, the embodiment of all we've fought against. We must unite and bring an end to this eternal conflict."

"Lucifer, our differences have divided us for far too long. It's time we put aside our pride and unite for the sake of all creation."
Said Michael siding with him
"Besides khaos"
"There can only be one omnipotent being in this universe"
"And that is our one and true God"

"The Void is a place of endless chaos, but within us, we carry the essence of creation. Together, we can counter Khaos's destructive force."
Said Gabriel unfurling his wings

"We have been entrusted with the fate of the realms. It's our duty to restore balance and bring an end to this cosmic turmoil."
Continued Raphael summoning his blade

"Even though you've done some messed up stuff back in the day"
"Lucifer, you've been both the catalyst of our division and the key to our unity. The choice is yours."
Said Uriel siding with Lucifer.

Lucifer looks at his brothers, their shared history, and the countless eons of conflict that have plagued the cosmos. He takes a deep breath, his resolve solidifying

"FOR FAR TOO LONG HAVE YOU RULED OVER THE VOID"
"FOR FAR TOO LONG HAVE YOU IMPERSONATED THE ONE AND TRUE GOD"
"AND FOR FAR TOO LONG HAVE YOU MANIPULATED ME INTO TAKING PART IN YOUR SO CALLED CONQUEST"
"I MAY NOT BE THE BEST OF PEOPLE"
"BUT ATLEAST I ALONE HAVE BROKEN FREE FROM YOUR MALEVOLENT CHAINS"
"THIS ENDS HERE"
"YOU END HERE KHAOS"
Lucifer yelled as his heart burned with determination

With their hearts unified and wings outstretched, the angelic brothers step into the Void, their presence a beacon of hope amidst the all-encompassing darkness. The fate of the realms hangs in the balance as they embark on their quest to confront the anti-god Khaos and restore harmony to the cosmos.

"Khaos hasn't taken any form yet"
"It's at times like this we try and break the void"
Ordered Raphael as they all concentrated their divine light into their weapons destroying parts of the void around them.
Their attempts were futile,the void kept on rebuilding itself.It was a never ending cycle of destruction and reconstruction.

"Oh it seems that you really do have the heart to bite the hand that fed you"
"Don't you Lucifer?"
"Or should I say..."
"Phanes?"
Said khaos through the void.
"DON'T CALL ME THAT YOU PRIMORDIAL HAG"
Lucifer yelled

The void gathered bits of itself as it took form of a humanoid.
Khaos had taken from,a void in the shape of man outlined by a fiery violet aura with bright eyes that only gave a cold stare that sent chills down the slines if those who stood against him.
"Child's play"
Said khaos as he sent parts of the void against the archangels.
Tendrils of void shit out from the surrounding area as the darkness began to corrupt and destroy the other angels
They all fought valiantly Striking khaos with all their might with their divine strength.

Uriel has fallen.
He was taken out by several tendrils Piercing his body leaving him to bleed out and perish in the void
Raphael took matters in his own hands and tried to avenge his brother.
Charging at khaos.
Even with his attempts if summoning the sun to strike chaos.
His attempts were futile as khaos sent a ball of negative energy towards Raphael.
Corrupting and imploding him.
Raphael has fallen.

Gabriel and and remiel charged from behind teaming against khaos.
Striking him from every point and knocking him back, only for khaos to destroy them with a quick blow to both of their torsos.

Lucifer and Michael could only watch in horror as they saw their brothers be slain Infront of their eyes.
Lucifer disregarded his mortals as he looked at khaos dead in the eye,
Even Michael the man blessed with god's strength stripped himself of his mercy and sided with Lucifer to give divine judgement.

The two charged at khaos,the two strongest Archangels, two of god's strongest creations,The devil and the angel,the rebel and god's chief angel.
Their wings radiated with divine energy as they struck khaos with all their might,all their rage,and all their strength.
The fight went on for what seemed to be ages.Locked in an eternal conflict they were.

Lucifer managed to get a clean slice on Khaos.
"NO"
"A MERE ANGEL LIKE YOU"
khaos cried in disbelief.

Lucifer raised his blade alongside Michael.
"You killed my brethren"
"Though they have returned to the heavens"
"Me and Michael will stay here for eternities if it meant that we could destroy you once and for all"

"Remember khaos"
"I,Lucifer"
"The angel of destruction,will have your head"
"Your presence has tainted this universe for far too long"

Khaos let out a laugh
"You?"
"End me?"
"I am a god capable of erasing all of creation "
"Either way this is quite the challenge that you've given me"

"A challenge?"
Said Michael
"We didn't come here to challenge you"
Said Lucifer.

"We came here to end you"
Said the two in synchronisation
