Before all of them left the ruins of solaris, Free smelled his shirt and said
"Wait"
"One more thing"
He said as he ran back inside, finding the castle's vault.
Once inside the ruins,be traveled and felt relieved knowing that the vault doors were sealed shut keeping the artifacts inside safe.
He opened the vaults doors and saw everything in pristine condition.
"I need a new shirt"
He said to himself as he walked along the giant room.
He then saw an article of clothing on a mannequin.
"That'll do"
He said as he ripped it off and Changed his outfit.
The outfit was a white-and-blue sailor uniform. The design is noticeably more militaristic and regal than normal uniforms, with a high collar, shoulder epaulets and gold adornments along the sides.He also retained the hairpin that he wore.The outfit was a bit tight on the waist but it didn't really matter to him.
Free ran back out to his friends before they could question him.
The five set out on a journey to mount purgatory.
"Where is this place anyway"
Heinz asked in a confused manner
Free replied
"It's a place that bridges the world between the underworld"
"A realm that only ethereal beings can enter"
"It's somehwhere near Lucifer's crash site"
"Or in other words...."
Free said stopping dead in his tracks
"The most Northern part of the planet"
"Sheol....where darkness lays eternal"
Free said continuing
"I can only teleport us so far"
"Then try it"
Said azaline
"Try teleporting us"
She said with a smug face
Free let out a reluctant sigh as he raised his hand towards his friends and took a deep breath before they all dissapeared.
They entered a wormhole that led them to the place where they needed to be,only for it to tear open a bit earlier than expected and make them land headfirst into limbo.
"Where the hell even are we"
Asked Douglas as he looked around to see a dimly lit area with staircases leading to knowhere,houses empty and strange creatures all around.
There were many people in robes of sorts all with a distraught look on their face.
"Shit"
"We're in limbo"
"A state between life and death where the good aren't good enough to enter heaven"
"We're not dead but I swear we all have to make it out alive"
Free said as he grabbed Cellinia's arm and held her close
Free summoned a ball of light before sending it up illuminating the path.
The people there were happy to final see light after being stuck in a dark state.
As they walked through free was terrified of everything he saw.
People moaning in agony due to not entering paradise,demons dancing and celebrating. Numerous giant creatures and monsters of all shapes and sizes.
Free knew he just needed to leave.
As they tried to find their way out they we're all nearly grabbed by demons and wandering spirits.
Even Phanes was unable to guide them as even he has never been to Limbo.
Later they were surrounded by wandering souls and demons blocking their way from their exit which was yet to be found.
Free didn't want to do this as the souls had already been through enough but given the current circumstances it was the only thing they could do to escape.
Free wound his fist,as his entire arm glowed in a golden hue.
"Esoteric art: Dragon fist..."
He said as he unleashed an art he learnt from his royal past.
Punching forward releasing a wave of energy as apparition of a golden dragon appeared and crashed through the souls
Twirling them up in a twisted of sorts.
The dragon turned into flames as it twirled upwards crashing and breaking through limbo.
Showing a clear exit.
Free quickly teleported everyone out through the hole.
"Well that could've gone worse"
Said Heinz trying to lighten the mood
"Heinz I swear to god I will push you into limbo if another word comes out of that mouth of yours"
Free said in annoyance
"Also Free"
"That outfit you got on hugs your body pretty tightly"
"Are you sure this isn't for girls?"
Said Heinz pointing it out
"Heinz even I don't know"
"I just needed fresh garments"
"One more peep from you and I'll push you back in there"
Free said closing in on him
"Alright you two just stop"
Said azaline trying to stop the two from fighting
"Azaline don't push your luck"
Free said as azaline ripped of her sleeve and put her arm near Free's nose making him inhale the pheromones
"Wait what was i talking about again"
Said free confused
"Let's just continue"
Free said as he pushed Heinz back into limbo making azaline pull him back up again.
"We can stay at a nearby village for the night"
Free said as they made their way, reaching their destination the group rented a flat for the night.
As the sun set and they got ready for bed, Free and Cellinia were crammed into one room while Douglas and Heinz were sleeping in another,whereas azaline was sleeping on the couch
"Only one bed huh"
Free said
"Well guess I'm sleeping on the floor"
Free said as he began to take some pillows
"WE SLEEP TOGETHER AT HOME DAMNIT"
Cellinia said calmly pushing free back into bed.
As everyone began to drift asleep free and Cellinia had just began to finally lay down.the two couldn't even sleep so free began to do some pillow talk.
"So...I guess I'm sorry for what happened earlier"
"I know you might be thinking what the hell is wrong with me"
"But my question is how can you love someone like me"
Free Said as he stared at the Ceiling
Cellinia sighed softly. "Free, you mean so much to me. I never knew I could feel this way. You make me feel whole."
Free pulled her closer, and brushed the hair away from her face. "Cellinia, I promise that I will never leave your side. You are my world, and I could never picture it without you."
"But I'm still so sorry that I of all people dragged you into a situation like this"
Free said
"After all this time I always make you worried sick for my safety"
Cellinia listened carefully as she nuzzled her face Against his chest embracing him.
"You only live once aren't I right?"
She said as she let out a soft laugh.
".....I love you Cellinia"
"......I love you too"
"Free"
The two said as they wrapped were wrapped tightly in each others arms.
They began to sleep soundly only for free to suddenly wake up in the middle of the night......
