The divine Comedy: Lucifer's second act

Ch.47 War

As Phanes broke the seal between the realm of the unseen and earth,a violent earthquake shook all the realms.
The rift between the heavens and the seal to the underworld had been broken.

The millions of angels and demons have already been prepared at the rifts, pouring out. Drums of war pounded as the earth became a giant battlefield between the forces of Heaven and Hell.

Phanes walked in as he saw the tear in the sky with the heavens pouring out.
All was well as the unearthly beings avoided the cities filled with people,but skirmishes surrounded the city.
Piles of angel and demons lie dead around the world as the war between the angels and demons have been a long awaited one.

Heavenly legions descend from the heavens, their armor gleaming with divine radiance. Angels with majestic wings and swords of holy fire march forward. Their battle cries echo through the heavens as they form ranks to face the approaching forces of darkness
'For the light! For the realm of purity! Hold the line, my brethren!'
Cried an angel

Phanes flew upwards attempting to reach the top of mount purgatory.
He looked down as he saw the demons emerge.

From the depths of the Earth, demons and monstrous creatures emerge in a nightmarish procession. Their grotesque forms and fiery eyes are illuminated by the infernal glow of the underworld. Fiery projectiles and bolts of dark energy streak across the battlefield.
'To chaos and conquest! Tear through their ranks, my minions! Earth shall be ours!'
Cried a demon

Even the realm of the unseen was victim to the battle,As the two armies clash, the realm itself trembles. Rivers of fire and torrents of celestial light collide, leaving scorched earth and shattered landscapes in their wake. Battles between individual angels and demons flare up, each a microcosm of the cosmic conflict.

"I need to finish this quickly"
Said Phanes as he rushed to the top
"Cellinia and the others might be in danger"
He rushed to the top, revealing a hellish landscape.
Phanes descended as he saw the two sides clash
7 archangels versus the devil himself.
The two were locked in a duel as Phanes spectated.
The two sides argued fighting each other both physically and verbally.
Breaking each other physically and mentally

"LUCIFER"
Phanes cried in anger halting the fight.
"RETURN TO ME AT ONCE"
"For too long have you stayed out of me"
"Now it's time for you to come back"
He said as he lowered eternity's edge.
Lucifer only stared as he crossed his arms
"What even is the purpose of me returning to someone like you"
"I am most perfect"
"I need not something like you to host me"
He said looking down on him

The two began to argue

"Lucifer, we cannot deny our intertwined existence any longer. Our separation has caused suffering and chaos."
"Phanes, you don't understand. I've been my own entity for so long, and I fear losing myself in your light."

"I know you have your own identity, your own desires and fears. But together, we can be something greater. We can bring balance to the realms, harmony where there is chaos."

Lucifer began to gaze at Phanes,it was as if he was looking at a mirror.
He looked at himself as he began to contemplate,but it didn't last long
The wrath of Satan got to him
"If you really want me to come back "
"Then you might as well make my last moments on this god forsaken planet fun"
Said Lucifer brandishing his flaming sword.

Phanes reluctantly agreed to the duel knowing that he had to finish it quickly.
"Fine then"

Lucifer and Phanes launch themselves at each other, their collision sending shockwaves through the celestial realm. Lucifer's wings, dark as the abyss, clash with Phanes's luminous, radiant wings. A dance of light and shadow ensues
The two forces clashed into each other, releasing a massive amount of divine energy throughout the surroundings.
Their blades met each other dancing with one another.

Their moves were one and the same it was as if Lucifer was fighting a reflection of himself.
Any move he did
Phanes had a counter.

Lucifer summons tendrils of shadow, attempting to ensnare Phanes. Phanes retaliates with beams of pure light, cutting through the darkness. The battle rages on, each blow a testament to their immense power.

"Phanes, this ends now! I won't be bound by your ideals any longer"
He growled
"You speak of unity, but I won't be absorbed into your blinding light!"

Their powers clash in a dazzling display of cosmic forces, creating shockwaves that ripple through the celestial realm.]

"I don't seek to consume you, Lucifer. I seek to harmonize our existence, to bring balance where there is imbalance."
Phanes cried, still with the goal of getting Lucifer to return.

Lucifer Grit his teeth.
"Balance? I've thrived in the chaos, the defiance, the shadows."

Lucifer's eyes blaze with infernal fury as he channels dark energy into a colossal, swirling vortex. Phanes counters by surrounding himself with a radiant shield of light, pushing back against the encroaching darkness.

"I know you, Lucifer, for I am a part of you. Our union can be a force beyond measure, one that transcends the realms"

As the battle reaches its climax, Lucifer and Phanes clash with a final, cataclysmic force. Their energies merge into a blinding explosion of light and darkness. The celestial realm shudders under the intensity of their struggle

Lucifer wasn't done yet.
He flew up and raised a hand as a burning star appeared in his hands.
"Phanes....."
"As this morning star falls...."
"So shall you...."
He said as he threw the star directly at Phanes.

With an indomitable will,Phanes thought of a counter as the morning star came ever so closer.
The star was inches away from Phanes but with unwavering determination, he pushed grabbed the star with both hands and pushed it. Attempting to force it back to Lucifer.
He was successful
The star hit Lucifer knocking him out of the sky.

He fell to the ground but got up and sat down on the floor.
"Well it seems that you have bested me"
He said
"I'll join you to fight that khaos thing"
"I have my own score to settle with him anyways"
Said Lucifer as he approached Phanes.
Their

Phanes and Lucifer step closer to each other. Their celestial auras merge, and a blinding light envelops them
"But there's a catch..."
Said Lucifer
"I'm in control"
He said as their form begins to change and become that if Lucifer but with a hint of phanes's more light-hearted personality.

"come brothers"
"We have a god to slay"
