Free rushed to the police department the next day and forced himself into the detective's office.As other officers tried to hold him back he pushed them back as if they were as light as feathers pushing them into a wall.
"OFFICER DETECTIVE SIR WHATEVER I CALL YOU"
"I HAVE A CLUE"
Free said after he managed to barge in
The detective turned to free in his chair holding a stuffed cat in his lap stroking it gently.
"I've been expecting you"
"Ok I admit it I actually wasn't"
He said as he broke his stoic character
Free passed the letter to him and explained everything he found at the campsite.
"So some are gathering at Lunaris to carry out some sort of ritual huh"
"Well the police will put an end to it"
"Tha-"
Just before he could finished his sentence Free slammed his fist onto the table.
"NO"
"LET ME DO IT"
"(ahem)"
"I mean let me do it sir"
"I believe that I alone am enough to take down the cult"
Free said as he lifted his fist from the table
The detective thought for a moment until finally agreeing
"You may go and deal with the issue yourself"
"BUT"
"It will be a reconnaissance mission"
"We'll gear you up and send you there"
"But"
"You're gonna have a partner"
"And who might that partner be?"
Asked Free
"We'll introduce you to him later"
"Let's just go and meet with the officials first"
Said detective Gerrard.
One extremely long and boring meeting later...
"Well we've gotten the council's approval"
The detective said
"But we need to do it quick"
"Meet me at the place where you found the letter"
"Tonight"
"I'll give you a briefing on the mission, introduce you to your partner and gear you up"
"Now go home kid"
"Prepare yourself for tonight"
Detective Gerrard said as he walked free outside of a meeting room.
As He rode the elevator he thought to himself.
"Shit"
"How can I explain this whole situation to Cellinia"
"Will she be okay with it?"
"Wait"
"What would my parents think of this"
He started to overthink the entire situation whilst in the elevator until the door finally opened.
He walked the corridor as he unlocked his door only to be greeted by his beloved.
As he embraced her he whispered into her ear
"I'll be calling my parents here"
"There's something important that i need to talk about"
Cellinia blushed as she squeezed her lover thinking the same words over and over again.
"Marriage?''
"Discuss?"
"Marriage"
"Marriage"
"Nah it's probably..."
"Marriage"
She thought to herself blushing profusely.
"Cellinia...."
"I can't fricking breath"
"You're crushing meeeeee"
He said as he was losing breath
She instantly let herself go and dusted him off acting all shy as if she didn't attempt to crush him to death.
Free walked to the sofa once more
"Cellinia"
"Hook up your phone to the television,we need to contact your parents"
"I'll call mine to come here"
"This is extremely important"
He said with a serious tone
"It's probably marriage"
She thought to herself as she hooked up her phone
30 minutes later
Richard and seraphina had arrived.
"Oh wow I haven't been in here since I bought the place"
Free's father said as he walked through only to see his son with his hands on his chin sitting with one leg on the other and his lover next to him.
Free raised his head up to look at his father.
"The king and queen of Agir have already joined the call 15 minutes before you arrived"
"You're late father"
He said as he stared his father
"Please,take a seat"
