Ch 1.introducing: Phanes

It's been years since the war in the heavens, and everything was just fine and stuff like that.

A new morning rose the heavens we're lit up by the golden rays of the sun the angels had just begun their morning choir ,Oh what a beautiful day it was one the heavens being illuminated by God's divine light

here we meet our hero Phanes.

Phanes was a powerful archangel unlike his comrades which were lower ranking. He had abilities comparable to that of Michael the hero of the heavens that casted the evil Lucifer out of the sky Phanes was an angel with a fair skin tone nearly pale even.He had a lean build and stood at an average height he had messy spiky white hair,with two curved horns protruding out of his head that were as dark as obsidian,he was androgynous in appearance unlike his comrades who were more masculine,his eyes we're a bright gold that radiated like the sun.His name meant Bringer of light as he is responsible of bringing light to all of god's creations.

As he rose from his slumber he rubbed his eyes began stretching and realized that today was the day.the day where he and his comrades had their arcanas chosen in order to seek and destroy whoever that was responsible for the fall of man

And so he unfolded his wings that stretched far,He opened his eyes as he looked at the horizon,Horns blared signaling an important day
"Dear god"
He murmured
"I'm late..."
After unfurling his wings he leaped through the air.

Phanes soared through the air and ended up hitting a branch of The Qliphoth... that being a giant tree that holds the universe's information in it's branches.BUT THAT DIDNT STOP HIM.he needed to make it to a place where the holy grail is held for the selections instead of flying he thought of a faster and flashier way of getting there. He pulled out his sword The Astral Edge a blade forged in the heart of a dying star with the core of a powerful demon lord capable of silicing through reality and the heavens like butter.he swung the flaming blade to tear open a hole in reality and used it as a portal to get to his location

As he arrived there he was the centre of attention. Just one minor problem...he's extremely introverted,bad at communicating with others and doesn't like being the centre of attention AT ALL. "Shit why did I do that,now everyones looking at me" contemplated Phanes rethinking his life choices.After seeing the flustered angel curling up into a ball on the floor everyone immediately started minding their own business.(not like they cared anyways)

Phanes had always noticed something different from him and the other angels.He had horns which always made him a target for insults such as 'heh effing demon' he never hated it he just finds it mildly annoying.After some time, an angel with his eyes wrapped in bandages came into the room, he held a scroll and opened it reciting the names of the angels that had been chosen for a certain operation. The name list went as written:-

All who were chosen were given their arcana based on their skillset and their overall power with the 20th arcana that being the arcana of the world being the strongest one. Phanes was chosen to hold the arcana of the world

*Author interfering: but dear readers I'm assuming that some of you know about tarot cards and you must be asking: aren't there supposed to be 21 arcanas? Where is the fool arcana? The 0th arcana?. You're questions will be answered in the next paragraph

Back to the story:
With all the angels having their arcanas chosen they were grateful that they were chosen for this specific mission but they all questioned about the arcana of the fool so they asked the angel with the bandaged eyes.he replied with 'My fellow angels, The fool arcana is reserved only for the ungovernable and those that wish to rebel against our masters wishes. It's a mark that represents great shame to the angel that wields it,so we seal it away never to be spoken of again,understood?','they didn't listen did they'

All the chosen angels surrounded Phanes astonished by his achievement of getting the arcana of the world only reserved for the strongest.
His armour was coloured pastel indicating that he had gotten the world arcana,while the others had more uniform colours.
He knew that he'd get praise,but alas it was something he couldn't escape

Phanes exclaimed "hey why don't you all go and congratulate the others I mean look at nova heh he has the arcana of the star" Phanes was blushing,his face turning beet red as he'd never had this much people staring at him in awe.He quickly vanished to get our of the crowd but his attempt failed when he was called to a room where the groups leader was waiting.

High Ranking angels came out of a winged door escorting what seems to be a giant cup?. That giant cup was the holy grail and inside is Their leader who is said to be an angel of high ranking and high intellect. He just really likes to sit inside the gold cup.

"Greetings,my newly appointed warriors" a voice came from the cup "my name is priceus not to be confused with perceus" "I've come to relay an important task for you as you have been chosen to search for the prince of hell himself Lucifer"

"He's been reported missing from hell,we've assumed that he has found a way to break the seal and is Roaming the earth to wreak havoc"

"Now as he's on earth you angels have to take on a vessel that'll look that's right folks EXACTLY LIKE YOU but with minor changes"

"Anyways the angel on the right of this holy grail will explain the rest, TAKE IT AWAY BOBEL"

"Hi"said bobel
"Anyways, you'll all be scattered around earth, I'll call all of you at random and summarise a short period of your life as you will be in a deep slumber sealed inside of your human vessel from the day it's born until a certain age where you will reawaken"

A few hours later,
"RANDOM NAME NUMBER 16 PHANES,let me summarise you're human life and bla bla blaaa"
Phanes was daydreaming
(Half an hour later)
"DID YOU GET THAT" said bobel as he snapped his fingers Infront of the daydreaming archangel

Phanes literally having to be snapped backed to reality was surprised of course and answered with a Panicked

"SIR YES SIR"

"Good" said bobel "now go get em tiger"

Phanes being pushed into some kind of portal suddenly experienced a bright flash.

And so starts a rebirth and now begins the operation known as: Operation Brimstone,The mission to seal an escaped Lucifer in hell once and for
