ch.9 The kingdom's fall

As the young prince, alerted the generals all soldiers we're stationed outside waiting for further orders.

Bells rung alerting the soldiers of the enemies presence
The kingdom of solaris raised its banners high,the sounds of bells rung as the enemies approached.

Dawn broke,trumpets were blown releasing a deafening sound.Both sides we're well prepared ready to fight one another to determine the fate of each others respective kingdoms.

The monks of Solaris began a ritual, including prayers and blessings

A circle was drawn by the monks and a strange ritual was performed,then a hole tore up from the sky.

A shining light descended from the heavens.

"Oh great God's of the solarean Pantheon,Aid us in our conquest as this battle shall determine the fate of both kingdoms"

Then,a pantheon of dieties descended from the sky, looking as if they just came out of mythology.Free was quite shocked to see such a sight.

The dieties descended with such fury and pride, one of them controlling the storms, another harnessing the power of undying winds,more descended as free saw a god in armour prepared to lead an army atop his heavenly steed,a god that symbolised strength and salvation,more descended dieties representing material and abstract matters all walked among the humans that day to protect the kingdom.

Both sides rallied up there strength and released a blood curdling battle cry that shook the earth.

Now it was time,the battle between the two kingdoms have commenced.

The battle of Solaris and Lunaris

Mephisto atop his steed led a charge with his troops using a sword instead of a firearm,he wanted to end the life of his cousin first emperor hikaru

The emperor charged forward both leading hordes of soldiers, some utilizing rifles others with blades of steel.

Lunaris, a kingdom bathed in eternal darkness, was known for its skilled warriors and technological advancements. Their armies marched with gleaming armor, their weapons forged from rare ores that shimmered like the sun's rays. King Mephisto, a corrupt and bloodthirsty ruler, sought to expand Lunaris's borders and prove the superiority of his people.

On the other side lay Solaris, a kingdom bathed in golden sunrays and mystique. Their mages and sorcerers practiced ancient arts, harnessing the power of the stars and the elements. Emperor Hikaru, a wise and enigmatic leader, aimed to protect his people and maintain Solaris's traditions.

As tensions escalated, diplomatic attempts faltered, and skirmishes at the border intensified. Spies infiltrated each kingdom, sowing seeds of doubt and misinformation. Citizens whispered of looming conflict, and the air was heavy with uncertainty.

Across the realm, trumpets blared, armor clanged, and banners unfurled, painting a picture of impending doom.
Lunaris brought in heavily armoured tanks to try and demoralise the soldiers of Solaris,But with the help of the Mages the tanks were able to be dispatched quickly with a few explosive spells.

Mephisto has had enough and ordered an attack on the palace, as hordes of soldiers stormed the city walls they were blocked by the amount of defences placed down by the citizens.The kingdom had to put down all the stops in order to face a threat this big.

But the soldiers were determined,Lunaris was gaining the upper hand as all of solaris's defences had crumbled the emperor and his son. Fleeing back into the palace walls,enemies we're surrounding the place, slaughtering innocent lives, wreaking havoc and creating mass destruction.
