Asked free as he stood in the abyss, looking at his infernal shadow
"Isn't it clear?"
"I'm..... well"

"Be it their true personality or another being that watches over them"

"You and Phanes"
Said Khaos who had taken Free's form.
"You're not me"
Free said raising his crimson blade, taking it's blade out of it's sheath.
The sheath then turned into a gauntlet covering Free's left arm.
"Oh I most definitely am"
"You were Just an avatar for my destruction"
"I planned your whole life from the beginning"
"You're no godsent child"
"You're no Messiah"
"You were made for the sole purpose of Destruction"
Said khaos telling the boy.
"YOU'RE NOT ME"
He said as he charged towards the malevolent being.
"Oh getting violent are we?"
He said as he parried his attack with his own dark and twisted version of heaven piercer.
Free used his magical prowess to summon a starfall,Beams of blinding light aimed towards Khaos.
Khaos summoned a shield of darkness.
"I know your every move Free"
"Every"
"Single"
"One"
They traded attacks,spells were cast,swords were clashed, it was a never ending struggle for the two.
What seemed like mere minutes in the void were days on earth.
Khaos charged at Free leaving a flaming trail behind him.
Slicing upwards with his blade and smashing him downwards, releasing pillars of flame.
Free still stood up,He threw bolts of thunder at the anti god, Stakes of ice Balls of fire.
Everything that was done was futile.
Phanes and Lucifer wanted to take over.
But Free was stubborn
"This is MY fight"
"MY battle"
He said as he was trying to catch his breath
All he could see was void and his shadow Infront of him.
He charged again and again only for the same results to appear.
That was until khaos struck a blow so hard that it knocked Free back and knocked both Phanes and Lucifer out of him.
Phanes and Lucifer fought against free side by side.
Free charged up and transformed into Safer Free.
With Phanes's evolution Frees safer form also had an evolution.
His hair was as white as snow with a black star in its centre and ocean blue eyes,he had two glowing demonic horns coming out of his head.His lower body was covered in this black and neon blue armour.His top retained his normal attire but with angelic features,His hands had braces that were identical in colour to his lower half.
He still retained one wing,but it looked more demonic.
Raising a flaming sword of what was once heaven piercer.
He looked at his shadow.
"you are not My creator"
"God is"
"And you"
"You're just not worthy of my time"
Said Free,Khaos saw everything as he gathered his power and turned into a bipedal horned beast surrounded by flames.
The battle once more had started.
The three charged at Khaos as he went on a rampage throwing punches in the air, breathing fire and casting spells capable of taking out continents.
The battle was fierce,Lucifer summoned a giant Demonic avatar that shit a bullet comprised of the power of the seven sins, Shooting khaos straight through the head.Phanes used the powers he gathered from his angel brethren and used all of their abilities in conjunction with one another.
Beams of light,The power of the morning star, Judgement of God, everything was used to weaken the colossal behemoth.
Free looked at khaos as he smirked, grabbing his blade he moved swiftly teleporting everywhere slashing him at different places, shooting barrages of energy, doing the same thing he did at Heinz, charging him with the energy he had in his fists and releasing it in a colourful explosion of energy.
Charging energy with such power that the void began to buckle at the sheer amount of power.
He let out a beam of energy so powerful it toppled khaos.
But khaos wasn't done.with his final attack he forced the angel and the demon to return to Free as he knocked free back.
With Free's weakened body the attack was strong enough that it knocked him in a near death state.He detransformed as he was on one knee,a limbo between life and death.he refused to give up,not only was he fighting for himself but for everyone.
"Give up"
Said khaos
The phoenix emblem in Free's pendant began to glow.
Free held onto it as it burned like a flame.
The void opened up to reveal light.
Nothing was said,but a message went through Free's head.he saw the words.
'Live'
He looked above as he saw a sword drop from above.
Lucifer looked at the blade as he was surprised to see Michael's sword on the ground.
The weakened free grabbed hold of the blade as he was showered in light.
He suddenly gained strength as his eyes glowed with a golden hue.
The heavens had blessed him with the strength to defeat Khaos.
With speed he struck khaos down.
"A mere mortal"
"Striking me down?"
"Impossible"
Khaos said in astonishment
Free didn't talk much.
He knew his goal.
He attacked and attacked,he used his rage to empower every strike.
Khaos could only try to heal himself with the void.
But it was futile
Free was attacking him faster than he could regenerate.
Khaos was left weakened and confused
Enraged to how a mere mortal struck him down.
Phanes and Lucifer came out to witness the final blow.
"THIS BLADE OF MINE GLOWS WITH A DIVINE POWER"
he said raising Michael's sword
"ITS BURNING GRIP IS TELLING ME TK DEFEAT YOU"
"SO TAKE THIS"
"MY LOVE"
He slashed
"MY ANGER"
He slahed again
"AND ALL OF MY SORROW"
He pierced khaos with the blade.
He yelled as he sliced upwards.a beam of light covered khaos before it became corrupted.
He used his power to corrupt the light,
He was on his last legs
Free knew what he had to do
It was time for Free to do what must be done.
The ultimate sacrifice....
