Shay parked the ambulance and the pair got out and went into the kitchen and sat down at the table. The only call they had for hours was a woman found on the side of the road, possibly raped until Voight and Halstead showed up walking through the kitchen to Boden's office. Shay assumed it was about the woman they picked up but when Boden came looking for just Savannah,Shay was concerned.
"Take a seat." Boden offered the paramedic as she walked in.
"I'd rather stand." She told him looking at Halstead and the Chief confused,"Can I ask what this is about?"
Halstead opened his mouth to speak but Boden beat him to it,"Halstead told me what happened last night."
Savannah swallowed,"Right."
"He was wondering if you'd give a statement."
"Why?"
Halstead decided it was time to step in,"That woman you brought in,she reported seeing the same man who attacked you last night."
"I wouldn't call it an attack." Savannah stated remembering the strong grip on her arm.
"Well,we think that he has done this more than once. And if you gave a statement it could really help." Halstead urged.
Savannah put her hand on her arm,"I don't to talk about it."
She quickly turned around and left the office before either of the two could stop her. Halstead looked at Boden and quickly followed her through the fire house.
"Look Savannah, you don't even have to show it me." He told her following her through the kitchen.
Savannah turned around,"You won't see it anyway because I'm not writing one."
Halstead sighed and followed after her down the corridor but was pulled a side by chief.
"Just give her some time. She'll come around."
Sighing he looked at brunette paramedic and headed out the door, this wasn't how he wanted.
