"28 year old female,involved in a RTC as passenger.Suspected ruptured kidney,head injury and two broken ribs." The paramedic informed the gathered doctors as they took Savannah to resus.
The crew from house 51 arrived shortly after and waited in the all too familiar waiting room.The amount of bad things that had happened to 51 in the past few years was unbelievable.Mills was sat down,his head in his hands with Casey sat next to him,his arm on his shoulder. He had texted Gabby to let her know but she wouldn't be here for at least three hours.He kept looking across at Severide who couldn't manage to keep still.Casey was worried about him.

It felt like days before the doctor came to update them on Savannah's condition when really it was four hours. Many of the crew had been and come back but Mills and Severide had stayed.
"Family and friends of Savannah Davids?" The doctor asked them.
"Yes,yes that's us." Cheif Boden told him.
"How is she?" Mills asked standing up.
The doctor sighed,"She is in a medical induced coma as her kidney has ruptured and she needs a urgent replacement."
"I came to ask you if any of you were willing to donate a kidney to your friend.I understand that it is a big ask,but at the moment it all we can do for her."
Everyone looked around at each other waiting for someone to offer,Shay glanced at Kelly,this was his chance.
