Burning slowly {part 12}

Shay moved and the broken glass that littered her hair shook lose.She was fine.A few scratches but nothing major.
She turned to look at Savannah,"Savannah!" She shouted noticing the brunette unconscious.She moved so she could check for a pulse,it was there but faint.
Shay heard the familiar noise of a fire trucks approaching.

"It's okay,they'll get you out soon,but you got stay awake if not for me,for Kelly." She whispered to her friend.
Shay's head was starting hurt from being kept sideways for so long by the time Casey put his head through the shattered window.
"Everyone okay?" He called down.
"I am b-but Savannah she's unconscious." Shay stammered.
"Can you move?" Casey asked her.
Shay unfastened her seat belt,"Yeah,yeah.I can get out."
Casey put his arm down to help her up and pulled her out.
Once Shay was out of the ambulance she could see the extent if the damage.The faint buzz of another fire engine and ambulance was becoming louder and louder until Shay could make out the writing on the side.Squad 3.Shay sighed.What would Kelly say?
"Hey,lets get you checked out." Casey said guiding Shay to the other ambulance before running over to get Mills.
"Mills,we need you down there with Savannah now!" He called.
Mills grabbed a medical kit and climbed down through the drivers window.
"Savannah,how we doing?" Mills asked the paramedic.
"It hurts..." Savannah groaned.
"Where hurts?" Mills replied checking her airway.
Savannah moved her hand and pointed to her abdomen.
"It's my kidney,isn't it?" She asked eyes closed.
Mills looked at her,he knew it was her kidney.He knew it was badly damaged,ruptured most possibly.
Savannah sighed shakily.This could be it.
