Just then a call rang over the radio,"Ambulance 61,Truck 81 and Squad 3."
Savannah put her seatbelt on and shut the ambulance door as Shay went round the other side to get into the drivers seat. After the two trucks had left Shay started the engine and followed them out.
The ambulance got briefly separated at a red light on a intersection, which wasn't save to run through, but as soon as the light turned green the ambulance was back on track.Halfway through the intersection a large lorry sped through, the breaks screeching. But the driver wasn't quick enough. The lorry ploughed through the seemingly small ambulance sending it flipping onto its side.Meanwhile, the two fire trucks carried on speeding away to their told destination, oblivious to the disaster that had just happened behind them.Almost at the end of the road Cruz looked in the wind mirror and noticed the white ambulance wasn't behind them as usual but laid on its side in the middle of an intersection. Cruz slammed on the brakes in shock.
"Cruz,what's wrong?" Casey asked sternly.
"Ambulance....61.......it's........it's....."Cruz stammered not taking his eyes off the wind mirror.
Casey followed Cruz's gaze and saw the ambulance on it's side,"Turn around!"
Cruz grabbed the wheel and started to turn the truck around as Casey radioed to tell Squad,"Kelly, ambulance 61,it's-its crashed,we're turning round now."
