{just a quick note, that I do not own Chicago fire and the characters in any way but I do however own my characters and idea}

Savannah looked outside the window pulling her jacket over her shoulders. Rain. Of course it had to rain. She grabbed her bag and ran outside towards her red range rover that was parked on the drive. As she climbed into her car she threw her bag down onto the passenger seat and turned the car engine on. Glancing in the rear view mirror she pulled her car out of the drive and set off to work.

By the time she had arrived at firehouse 51 the rain had stopped and the sun was glowing brightly. She parked just outside the firehouse. Using the rear view mirror, she tied her back into a high ponytail. She quickly took another glance in the mirror to check her makeup and opened the car door whilst grabbing her bag. She locked the car and made her way towards the station. The brunette then felt her phone vibrate in her pocket and pulled it out to check the message.

Savannah

I am coming round tonight to collect my things

Don't be late from work, I have things to do

Phill

Savannah sighed at the message from her ex husband and started to reply. She had her head down concentrating on the message rather than where she was going. She only looked up when she felt herself collide with Kelly Severide.

"Woah watch it." Kelly laughed.

"I'm sorry Kelly." She said, putting her concentration back into the text message as she made her way to the locker rooms.

Severide watched her in confusion to why she wasn't her usual bubbly self.
