The Witch Chapter 20

"Wake up baby girl." The voice spoke softly in my ear. From the tingles I knew it was lane. "Hi." I yawned. Stretching like a lazy cat I got up. It's almost sunrise. Kissing lane on the cheek I got dressed and ran downstairs. Walking up the stairs was the sensei. "Good morning senses." I said bowing respectively. "And good morning to you to allie." I followed him into the training yard and we began. "This training will be hard." He snapped. "I will not only test your physical capacity but your mental one as well." Sitting cross legged on the grass we began. "First I want you to clear you mind." Clearing my mind I took deep breaths and concentrated on my breathing. "Good good. You are doing very well. Now I want you to imagine your ears. Their color, their texture. I want you to imagine how they flick towards sound and move with your emotions. Imagine the color and texture of your tail. The way it balances you and twitches. Imagine your claws. How they feel when they retract. How they feel when they slice through the air." Imagining all these things I heard a very soft and muted pop. "Open your eyes allie." Opening them i see with a clarity I've never known. I can see dusk particles twirling through the air. On sensei's face I can see all of his pours and wrinkles with sharp vibrancy. I can see everything. "You can see everything. Can't you?" "Yes sensei. How is this possible?" I ask standing. This is one of your many powers. You have unlocked your true inner cat. Only the chosen one may do this. Here." He handed me a hand held mirror. Looking in I gasp. My whole face is covered an odd pattern of stripes and dots. They all match my ears and tail. I have black stripes that are bordered and spotted with gray. Along with white blotches and swirls. It's so pretty. "My, you look beautiful allie. You must be pretty strong to achieve your in we cat on the first try." A woman'a voice spoke from behind. Twirling around I see a woman with long black flowing hair, a pale complexion, and a crooked nose. She's wearing a long black robe bordered with gold. "My name is Bonnie Jean. But you may call me Bj. I am the witch that will assist you in your training." She smiled. "It's nice to meet you. But right now I'm training with sensei, so you'll have to wait." I said turning back to sensei. "Fine. Ill go to the Alpha for a little chat." She said walking away. "Ok, back to the lesson. You've mastered getting into your inner cat, now lets get out of it. Close your eyes and listen." He commanded. Closing my eyes I listen. "Think of your human parts now. Your long legs, your face, ever part of your human form besides the cat parts." Imagining all these features I hear another soft muted pop and open my eyes. Looking in the mirror I see my face normal again. "You are very advanced. I think you will learn very quickly." He praised smiling slightly. Snapping his fingers he stands back. Confused I look at my surroundings. "Ahhhhhhh." I battle scream Burt from behind me. Turning I just have enough time to see a girl before she hit me with a rod. Flying to the side I roll when I hit the ground and land in a crouch. The girl is a fox. With bright red hair and red ears with black tip. Along with a red tail with black tip. She had a wooden stick in her hand. It was to big to wrap her hands around but she wielded it well. Snarling she leaps toward me. Dodging the blow I pick up another large stick and blocked another blow. The shock shook through my arms and I gritted my teeth. Standing I begin to stalk toward her. Smirking she does the same. Running I start attacking. Blow after blow after blow was swung. Both of us, using the sticks like swords, got hit and hit each other. Leaping away we both were panting. She's very skilled. She threw her stick aside and held up her fists. Doing the same we raced forward. No matter what we couldn't get the upper hand. We were evenly matched. "Enough." The sensei said and we both stopped. "That was very good. You are both evenly matched but skilled non the less. Allie, your training is over for today." With that he turned and walking away. Turning the the fox I held out my hand. "My name is Allie." She grabbed my hand and smiled. "My name is Amber. I am very homered to meet the chosen one. I am even more honored to fight you." She said bowing slightly. "None of this chosen one crap. Call me Allie and treat me like you would any one else." I said smiling. "Ok, I have to go. Ill see you tomorrow." She said running off. I like her. Turning I begin walking to the house. "Allie." Lane called, running up. He kissed me softly and pulled me into the house. "The witch wants to see you." He said pushing me into a red based room. "Hello Allie. Can you find me?" Her voice came from everywhere and nowhere. Echoing off the walls and in my head. Looking around all I see is an empty room with red carpet and wallpaper. I begin feeling through the air. Did she turn invisible? I wish I could see her. After a while off feeling through the air and concentrating on corners and spots I start to feel frustrated. "What? Can the chosen one not be able to find an old lady?" She teased. why can't i see anything, she wouldn't ask me to find her if i couldn't. whats wrong with me. Thinking about my eyes I hear a pop. Did I unlock my inner cat. All of a sudden everything was clear. I can see every dust mote, every grain of wood. I can also see every witch. There are about twenty translucent witches. That explains why the voice came from everywhere. "I can see you now, turn back into one witch please." I said crossing my arms. The witches frowned and blurred into one. "I was having fun." She said. "We'll I wasn't." "Fine. I just wanted to know if you could figure me out. You can go for now, but training starts right after you get done with sensei tomorrow." In a puff of smoke she disappeared. "Weirdo." I mumbled walking out.
