Sticky Chapter 24

"So let me get this straight. You want me to help you enslave Zane's pack. In exchange for my mate's life?" I said leaning back in the chair.

"Precisely." Lane is somewhere in this place locked up and I need to find him and save him. Gosh. Ill play along for lane's sake.

"Ok. Deal." He looked surprised at my willingness and smirked.

"Brittany unchain my new partner." He ordered blondy. My shackles fell off and I rubbed my red wrists.

"So where's my room." I said licking the cuts so they'll heal faster.

"Oh the room that you were in is your room. Well add a bed in a second."

"Nope. I refuse to live in that room. It's decoration is ghastly. Horrible in taste." I said folding my arms.

"How is it ghastly I had one of my best decorate it." He said.

"Want to see it?" I asked getting up. He followed me back to the room and growled when he saw it.

"I'll have you a new room in a little. He snarled stalking off with Brittany at his tail.

"Someone's going to die." I sung walking back to macho man.

"I'm allie." I said to macho man. He smiled and took my hand. Placing a kiss on it he said,

"and I am Zack." Pulling my hand away I wiped off the kiss.

"So what do you so around here for fun." I asked walking in a random direction.

"What do you wanna do?" He asked.

"I wanna see lane." I said putting my hands on my hips.

His eyes spaced out for a second so I knew he was using mind link. Sighing he beckoned me down a hall. As we made our way to lane I memorized the route.

Left pass right left straight pass pass up stairs left down stairs down stairs.

We finally came to a iron door with huge locks. It took him about ten minutes to undo them all. Opening the door a foul stench wafted over me. Walking into the gloom I saw several cats and wolves in horrible conditions. They all looked half starved and dirty. Most were beaten up and the others looked sick. The smell of puss, waste, and decaying flesh stung my nose.

Zack led me to a corner where lane was lying against the wall with only some basketball shorts. As much as I would like to ogle over his chest it angered me to see him like this.

"Open the cage." I demanding. He opened it and I flew to his side.

He's asleep. There's bruises and cuts all over him and he has a large lump on his head. Tapping his cheek he wakes up.

"Allie! I was so worried about you. Are you ok?" He asked pulling me down onto his lap and wrapping his arms around me. Cradling me he kisses my head and hold me tight.

"I'm ok love, I'm more worried about you." I said snuggling closer.

"Zack. I want you to tell your alpha that I demand lane to be taken out of here and put with me or I'll rip everyone here to shreds." I growled.

My eyes glowed their inner cat and my ears layer back. After a second of zack talking to Shane he nodded and unshackled lane. Smiling we head back to my temporary room.
