A New Life Chapter 18

They are all crazy. They can't expect me to believe I'm suppose to save the whole wolf race! They are absolutely crazy.

I'm now in my new room that me and lane share.

The walls are painted a nice light brown that matched the dresser, four poster bed, and nightstand. The sheets are a silk black with white star designs at the edges. Our bed is across from the door with the nightstand to the right. The dresser is on the left wall next to the bathroom, and there's a mirror on the right wall next to the huge walk in closet.

It's the best room I've ever had.....seeings how I usually slept in caves. Lane walks in and hugs me from behind.

"Don't get stressed out much. Some people are meant for greatness. You'll be great." I sigh and lean into his hug.

I love this man. He doesn't demand anything more than hugs and cuddling.

"I love you." I whisper feeling it with every heart beat.

"I love you to alleycat." I yawn and rub my eyes so lane scoops me up and plops me in bed.

Climbing in after me we burrow down into the bed and just lay there next to each other. It was nice. Yawning once more I snuggle into lane's side and drift of into dreamland.

When i wake I'm still in bed with lane snoring next to me. My ears twitch when there's a loud crash downstairs. Some yelling and thumping later and it's quit again.

Hmm. Wonder what's going on. Slipping off the bed silently I as to not awake lane, I walk to the closet.

Opening it i find a walk in closet stuffed with cloths, accessories, and shoes. Picking out a pair of black skinny jeans, red tank top, and white vans I pad downstairs to see what everyone's up to.

I hope lane isn't mad about not waking him. He looks so innocent and carefree when he's asleep.

Walking into the kitchen I find Rowan cooking eggs, mother searching the icebox, and Nicholas eating pancakes.

"Good morning." I said grabbing an apple.

"Allie!" Nicky yelled while pouncing on me for a hug.

Hugging back I ruffled his hair and sent him back to his food.

"Good morning allie. I hope you slept well." She said pouring a glass of apple juice.

Nodding I kiss her on the cheek and turn to Rowan.

"I need to speak to the Alpha later today." I said bowing my head in respect to the beta.

"Of course." He said.

"Alpha Zane will be back later today around three." With that he turned and left.

Replacing him Kristianna walked in pulling a smiling Marshall.

"Allie, goo morning." She said sitting down next to her mate while mother gave them some eggs.

I nodded and smiled at her. Finishing my apple I threw the core away and walked outside. I'm so happy I have my family back.

I see some cat men training and wander over. There's a white eared and tailed man and a black cat man.

Black makes a punch toward white but white blocks and knocks black down with his leg. Aiding him in falling, white punched black square in the chest while he was falling causing him to fall harder. Black coughed and stood back up. Black did a roundhouse kick, hitting white in the throat giving him a chance to pin him.

The other men started clapping and cheering for Kory so I'm guessing that's his name. Walking forward I address Kory politely.

"Excuse me sir, but I would like to spar with you." Some of the men looked stunned, others laughed.

Kory looked at me with interest.

"Do you think you can take me?" He asked crossing his arms.

"Yes." I answered, copying his stance. He chuckled and nodded.

"Alright. Lets see if this kitten has claws, Mason." He spoke to white so I guess that was his name.

Getting into a fighting stance I watch Kory carefully. Apparently Kory doesn't listen to the rule 'don't underestimate your opponent' because his stance was relaxed.

Using my speed I kept to his right and snapped a kick into his side. He stumbled sideways, stunned. Using this to my advantage I sprung onto his back, locked my legs around his chest and twisted. When he started to fall I tried the move I saw Mason do. Keeping upward I use my weight to fall onto him. He landed with an oomph. Putting my foot across his neck I looked him in the eye. He looked down meaning I won the spar.

Standing I held out my hand to help him up. He took it and we shook hands, a sign of respect.

The surrounding men watched us to stunned to move. All of a sudden they all snapped out of it and began cheering. Nodding my head I walked away. I could hear the jabs and jeers thrown to Kory while I walked away. He shouldn't of underestimated me. I've been fighting as a sport since I was three. A gray cat man ran up to me.

"That was amazing. You have to meet Sansei Ribose. He would want to meet such an amazing fighter." He said smiling from ear to ear.

A Sansei? If I'm really suppose to save the world I'm going to have to work on some skills.

"Ok. When can I meet him." He looked overjoyed at this and started bouncing. This is a weird man.

"How about at two." He said. Two. That's good. That gives me a good hour before talking to the Alpha.

"Two it is then. Tell your sansei that ill see him later." With that I walked away. I wonder if lanes' awake. Walking back to the house I play with a blade of grass.

"Allie!" A wrecking ball slammed into my back and wrapped it's arms around me.

I could tell its lane by the tingles shooting up my arms. Turning around I hug him back.

"You weren't there when I woke up so I came looking for you." He said smelling my hair.

"Awwww did you miss me?" I teased. He pouted.

"Yes." Taking his hand we walked back to the house.
