Two days before the wedding, the whole Glee club was packed into Rachel's apartment. Needless to say, it was very crowded.
The girls were all fluttering around Rachel, showering her with questions. "Can I see the dress?" "Is Bud the ring bearer?" "What color are your shoes?"
She was beginning to get overwhelmed. Meanwhile, the boys were all sprawled out on the couch, asking Finn some questions. "Will there be cake?" "Have you seen her dress?" "What time is the ceremony, again?"
Finn was slowly getting irritated with all of this, and he stood up, grabbed Rachel by the arm, and they went into the bedroom. They could hear a chorus of 'ohhhhhs' behind them and smirked to themselves. Their friends were great, but quite immature.
"Rach, I thought I'd be fine with having everyone stay at the house, but now I'm not so sure."
"Yeah. I know what you mean. If I hear another question...."
Finn went back out to the living room, Rachel in tow. "Hey!" He shouted over the noise of his friends. "Guys!" They looked over. "It's been fun having you all here, but really we just need a break right now. I've made arrangements at the nearest hotel," he made a mental note to himself to do that, "and they have room for everyone. Thank you all for understanding."
To his surprise, his peers took the news surprisingly well, and without hesitating, packed up their things and were on their way.
He took Rachel in his arms. "Finally. Alone at last."
