Rachel swung open the apartment door. "I'm home!" She sung out.
"I am also home." Santana said less enthusiastically.
"Hey ladies! How was LA?" Kurt said (still a little raspy), coming into the room with Finn.
"Oh my gosh. It was the best time!"
"We saw Puck and Mercedes. They have a song out now." Santana said.
"That sounds amazing!!" Kurt said, and let out a little cough into his sleeve.
"How was your week?"
"Well..." Kurt said, and Sam and Blaine came into the room.
"Sam! Blaine! What are you guys doing here??" Rachel said, hugging them both.
"Kurt called us. He didn't realize how crazy Finn was." Blaine said.
"Yup. It was a fun week. Except for..." Sam started, then trailed off when he saw Kurt and Blaine glaring at him.
"Except for... What?" Rachel asked slowly.
Kurt sighed. "Finn got sick a few days in, but he's all better now since we all took care of him."
"Aw baby." Rachel said, picking Finn up. "Why didn't you call me?"
"I didn't want to worry you. We had it all under control."
"Ok. I believe you. But I still think there's something you're not telling me."
"Um, well, Kurt caught whatever Finn had, but he got it worse. He passed out a few days ago, but only for a second and he seems fine now." Blaine said, putting his arm around Kurt.
"Yeah. That about sums it up." Kurt coughed.
"Wow. Ok. Kurt! How do you feel now?"
"Fine. Just my throat, but it'll get better."
"I wish you guys would've called me or something."
"I know, but Sam and Blaine were here, and it was fine. I'm fine. Finn is fine. We are all fine!!" Kurt snapped.
Rachel just stared at him. He never acted out like this.
He cleared his throat, and said quietly, "I'm sorry Rach. I guess I'm just tired. It's been a long week."
"Ok. I get it. Hey, Blaine and Sam, how long are you here?"
"We leave tomorrow. Early in the morning."
"I think I'm going to head to bed. Glad you're home, Rach. Blaine, can you come with me?"
Blaine followed him to his room, and Rachel attempted to put Finn to bed.
