Rachel and Kurt (and baby Finn, now half a year old) were starting the treacherous journey of a long car ride with a baby. They were going back to Lima for the week, to see everyone. It was kind of a reunion. Santana had left a day earlier to go to a concery with Brittany. Kurt was driving, and Rachel was in the backseat with Finn. They stopped at a gas station on the way back home. "Can you get me some gummy worms, please?" Rachel asked Kurt.

"Sure thing, Rach!" Kurt went in, and a few minutes later, came out carrying two huge bags. "Only Kurt Hummel can have a shopping spree at a gas station!" Rachel laughed.

"If we're gonna survive this ride," he gestured to Finn, who was sleeping soundly, "we're gonna need lots of caffeine!"

Rachel agreed, and they drove for about two hours before Finn woke up. He immediately started crying. "Hey baby. It's okay. Mommy's here. You're okay." It didn't work.

"Why don't you sing to him?"

"Good idea. But I think we should sing a duet."

"You know I can't turn that down!" Kurt chuckled, and they started singing.

God on high

Hear my prayer

In my need

You have always been there

He is young

He's afraid

Let him rest

Heaven blessed.

Bring him home

Bring him home

Bring him home.

He's like the son I might have known

If God had granted me a son.

The summers die

One by one

How soon they fly

On and on

And I am old

And will be gone.

Bring him peace

Bring him joy

He is young

He is only a boy

You can take

You can give

Let him be

Let him live

If I die, let me die

Let him live

Bring him home

Bring him home

Bring him home.

Soon after they were finished, Finn fell back asleep and didn't wake up until they got to Lima.
