"Okay Raina, this is done, I'll get late if I start with this topic, I was only allowed for 2 hours", Aarzu stated as she packed her things,

"You're leaving? It's only 4:30"

"Yeah its better if I go before it gets dark",

"Yeah- I'll drop you off then"

"No its fine, I'll take the metro"

"Sure?"

"Yes, jaani, sure", she said hanging her bag along one side of her shoulder,

Raina hugged her best friend and said, "sorry if Adam bhai made you feel uncomfortable, next time I'll make sure it won't happen",

Aarzu hugged her tight; she felt as if she's betraying her best friend;

She hasn't informed her about what Adam told her that evening, she gets nervous around him now and the reason being-

"Okay then Aarzu khuda hafiz, ill see you tomorrow at uni", said Raina pulling back from her friends embrace,

"khuda hafiz"

Aarzu walked outside the room, the silent ambience of the house filled her heart with peace,

She walked towards the hall and sees a familiar spot;

Memories from that evening start playing in her mind,

That evening. That day. That spot. That promise. ADAM.

A shiver runs down her spine every time she thinks about it, ever since that day, Adam is openly conveying his feelings towards her,

'He was never like this, what happened to him now? Did he seriously mean it?' Aarzu seemed to be lost in thoughts,

She came out of the house made her way into the lawn where she saw a familiar figure of a man,

'oh shit its Adam' she mumbled under her breathe,

He turned towards her, the first two buttons of his shirt open, his hair a total mess and his face full of sweat,

A piece of cloth hanging around his right shoulder while he folded his sleeves exposing his manly arms, anybody could say he was a gym rat;

Aarzu looked at him like never before, 'what's wrong with me? Why is heart beating so loud' she thought,

"Going already?" Adam asked wiping away the sweat from his eye brows,

"y-y-y-yeah" Aarzu struggled to answer, 'his eye brows are so thick' her brain whispered; her white cheeks flushed blood again and she suddenly felt warm,

She turned her face away while his eyes were still racing on her,

"I'll drop you off then" he said,

"n-n-no, I-I'll take the metro" she said with her eyes fixed behind him on the car he was cleaning,

"No you're alone, lemme drop you off" he argued,

"Well it's not dark yet, I can go by myself"

"Without your dupatta?" Adam said with a flirty smile on his face,

Aarzu looked at him while her heart overworked giving her cheeks a darker colour of red;
she wanted to take her dupatta back, but it's not an easy job, especially when its Adam, she could fight with strongest of men but will hesitate if its him,

She directly stared into his dark eyes while he melted in the brown of hers, he looked at the pink tint of her cheeks and his smile grew sweeter, he knew the tint was because of him and only for him,
