Match made in heaven

Chapter 15- The engagement

"Adam go real quick and get some packs of tissue", Imran said panting for breath,

It was Raina's engagement, everybody was occupied with some sort of work.
The lawn was beautifully covered with Daffodils, the yellow flowers perfectly highlighted with the golden lights along the entire space,
The setting was intimate.

"Adam tell Laibah that flowers are in the fridge", Munira said as she ran towards the food counter to check the dinner.

Adam circled around the entire place hastily either greeting the guests or setting the venue.

Aarzu walked towards the stage setting the flowers on the side table while Adam walked upto to her,

He sat on the sofa and called her, she turned around to watch him smirk at her,

"Why haven't you eaten?", he asked in a strict yet soft tone,

"I wasn't hungry", she replied,

"Liar."

She stared at him and he slowly held her wrist,

"We're on stage", she said resisting his pull,

"Wanna practice?" He asked in a flirtatious tone,

"What?", she asked with innocence sparkling her tone,

"Dont change the topic, why haven't you eaten yet?"

"I told you i wasn't hungry"

"Okay fine agreed, now go eat lunch", he ordered,

"But I'm not hungry", she denied, She lied. She was hungry.

"I don't care, you cannot keep your stomach empty, dont you know it doctor sahiba"

Aarzu remained silent at his sentence and he spoke again, "you need to eat, please"

His appealing tone somehow convinced her to eat and she walked back into the kitchen to feed herself.
It was Adam who had this capability to order her. His view about her mattered. She didn't want to disobey him. She wanted him to be secure with her.

The grooms side made an entrance.
Abrar entered the lawn along with his aunt who held his arm, his cousins and other members of the family appeared later.

Both the sides of the family hugged and greeted each other, Abrar wore a yellow kurta on top of which he put on a cremè vest. The design was same as Raina's dress's border.

Adam hugged his bestfriend and guided him to the stage,

"Where's the light of my life?", he asked Adam,

"The light of your life is upstairs with the light of my life", Adam replied,

They laughed.

Abrar was an orphan, he was raised by his aunt after his mother passed away when he was around 12 years old. His father died much later but the man had abandoned his child after his wife's death. When his father passed away, the business he had owned came directly to to the 14 year old Abrar and ever since then he has been into this business industry and he found Adam as his business partner and his bestfriend.

Watching how gentle, hardworking and a loving man Abrar was, Imraan sent a proposal to his aunt, asking him for his daughter. Imraan believed that Abrar was the only man who could handle Raina and he was right.

"Here's comes the bride", Abrar's cousin tells loudly and the entire sets of eyes fall on Raina,

She looked gorgeous.....extremely gorgeous....the subtle makeup on her face did a great job in enhancing her actual glow and her smile gave huge credits to the vibe....
